Did anybody else notice the reversing/back-up lights stuck on as the driver took the turn at 0:08? Either the driver inadvertently pushed the balky gearshift into Reverse (not too unbelievable) or the lights were stuck on with some sort of electrical glitch (also not too unbelieveable)
Yugo is cheap,doesn't use lot of gas,it is small so its good for the city,if it brakes the repair won't cost you much... The only down side of it is that its just UGLY!
But Yugo is a legend. The best crap that you have paid a little and you get even less than that. Going to the movies with a girl was more expensive than maintenance the Yugo.

"One Lap of America" back then was a Mille Miglia style rally; each driver is trying to complete a certain drive as close to a specific time as possible (e.g. drive from Los Angeles to Denver averaging exactly 54 mph, not higher or lower.) So it's not a race. And the Yugo that entered that year didn't win; they just listed the makes of some of cars that finished lower in the standings.
well during yugoslavia before 1990 adidas was most popular because it was produced here but after 1990 it is nike.We were communist countrie but western brands were normaly sold and they were afordable more then now.

No expense spared here with just 19 seconds of commercial. Hardly makes it worth advertising. probably cost more to make than to buy an actual Yugo.
