Wow...I remember that! Let's see, my favorite memories of El Camino-- Pam (almost my senior ball date 1987), Mary Jean (my junior prom date 1986), and Ria of Mercy Burlingame. And my 1978 Dodge Van...aka the "Baby Maker". Oh yeah!
LOL...people in the bay area still use the term "hella"?
People at El Camino back in the 80's looked all as f**k compared to the kids today. Back then seniors were rockin full grown beards and at El Camino today the seniors look like they are still in the 8th grade.
Too funny, reading those credits. Young as I was, I remember the '86-87 school year, so well. I had a maxell tape with the Beastie Boys on one side, and Run DMC "Raising Hell" on the other. I never took that tape out of my walkman, all year.
"Never say goodbye" lol. Well, I graduated that year, too. From the 6th grade. It's amazing how much more mature teenagers looked back then. That was a time when teenagers actually tried to be adults. Now, adults try to be teenagers. Something went wrong at some point.
You know..I missed graduating with everyone in 87,it was bittersweet though, I left in the 11th grade to get my GED and work full time so my mom wouldnt lose the house and we could get our water and electric turned back on. For those who remained my friend and supported my through the years, thank you, that is what Mr Keropian was trying to instill in all of us. Allegiance to each other and the school. I will always be an El Camino Colt. Thanks for the memories man.Dennis N
