@pyeinthesky Thanks Eddie - as it was a nice day, I thought I would play out in the front. We ran the recording lines through my study window and out to the accordion, so there was no wind noise or cats "miaowing". I am so lucky to have such a view, for about 270 degrees over the lake and the surrounding Shehy mountains.
@nigelzzr Thanks Nigel. (can't get a decent pasty here, so am making my own, and have now got a good recipe which the Irish friends seem to enjoy - it makes a change from boiled bacon & cabbage!)
@Rhawneld57 Hi Ron. Thanks for dropping by, you can't have been able to sleep, I guess you wrote this around 2 a.m.? I will drop you an e mail later today, but I am just off to buy am adjustable height stool for the S900!
Thanks for the nice comments Ron - I have comments awaiting your next video and they are bursting to be written down!!
@danielleosimpson You are very kind to take the time to listen and i thank you for your nice comment. Coming from a musician such as yourself is a nice compliment for me.
@pippobl - Caro Filippo, spero che la mia musica sia stata impressionabile in un buon senso e non perché il mio gioco era in modo da il Male esso li ha incitati a gridare!
@musicfamily - Thank you very much. I am afraid I was not built for dancing! Maybe a waltz, but anything faster than that - well once the music has stopped, parts of my anatomy are still wobbling away!! I must lose some weight :-(
that was great, Mike! And don't worry too much about your "mistakes". Such is life, and if we did not make mistakes, we would not be humans! Cheers, Silvia
@sia1807 - Thank you Silvia. I just seem to make silly mistakes when the camera is on, and it really infuriates me, as I know I can play them perfectly when the camera is off!
@NancyMbWpg - Hello! Thanks for listening - PLEASE put on your video of Les Bicyclettes .... I have had several comments that a lot of people like this song and were sorry I did not play it completely (i only did an "excerpt"). I would really like to hear another accordion player play this one - GO on, as they say here in Irelane: "Ah! yer will, yer will! ah! gowarrrrnn!!"
Jim from Millbury here. I really enjoyed your video. Then again, I always do! Nice touch doing it outside. I noticed you used some delay in this video, I think it was perfect for the song, gave it a different feel. It does look beautiful there but as for the looking younger.... :)
@jimgansett - Hello Jim. Thanks for listening and you are very observant and you heard correctly, I did use delay. (Pity it doesn't delay the ageing process)
Cats - what do they know anyway? You cover your finger-trips very well, because you keep going like nothing's wrong! And indeed, all is just right, because you are a jewel of a guy! And your music is great too! Thanks for the music adventure, Mike!
@accordiona = Thank you Lorna, your kind words make me feel happy. Now, if that had been my dear Ben (he was a black/tan long haired German Shepherd, my BEST friend), he would have thought "what's he doing now! oh well, I'd better sit near him in case he needs help, or does anything silly!
@alainhammond = Gear Alain, thank you for your lovely comments. be assured, my friend, when you come to Ireland, we will have enough Irish coffee to sail home on!
Hi Mike ...Great job Mike .... you seem to be enjoying the outdoors which puts us all in the right frame of mind. Looks like the cat's are implying they've heard this selection previously. Take Care!
Please forgive me not to be the first one write here. At last you finished with a smile as if you had just put down a big big rock from your shoulder. I tried to practice more for uploading several videos at a time. But, I am lazy. Actually, you played much better than I did. Keep on, my friend.
@tamyk007 - thank you for your comment and of course, I say to you, that it is not easy to keep track of all videos, so please, do not say sorry for not being first to comment. I am very pleased that you have done so, and thank you for your kind words.

@myaccordionhistory - Thank you Leon, you are very kind and forgiving. To me, these tunes are very simple BUT the minute the camera rolls, I panic. I missed out 2 sections because I had no faith in my fingers and yet I can rattle them out when I am just playing!
Les Bicyclettes de Belsize....I love that tune...I see the wind has stopped blowing long enough for you to go outside and play this beautiful medley...Nice work! I could listen to you play all day...You play very well and nice choice of music...Fran

There are waves of orange light radiant upon the landscape
The rolling hills in the background become a monumental stage
where the open valves of creativity may blossom unerringly
Your music gives enjoyment and pleasure
It is an open window for your personality to shine
a complex, richly varied and valued resource
whereupon your inner style becomes an outer expression
Such a travelogue remains a tour of fascinating proportion
