I just bought one 2 months back and it's REALLY GOOD! But you must use your fingernails to interact with the screen, since it's resistive... good thing if u are wearing gloves too!

I have this fone,and its an amazing!!! phone with its own cool apps in it too,it looks amazing and i got it for only £100, so it was definetly worth it,and to be honest capicitive or resistive,it does not make the fone a bad fone as it covers up with all its cool features,to be honest i like resistive as you can type with any pointy sharp thing you find,e.g nail. I had the t mobile pulse(not mini) which was capicitive but then a few months later it started acting annoying and frustrating!

I just purchased a GT540. Mine shipped with 1.6, and according to LG's firmware updater, there are no updates available. I've heard LG are going to release a 2.1 update in August, though.

@1000erey2 Resistive screens are no where near as accurate when using the finger compared to a capacitive screen. capacitive screens also allow multitouch and is far more sensitive.
