Yes lovebirds can bite hard enough to draw blood. Mine has and still does on many ocassions if i let her. i havent had her long so im hoping the biting will stop soon. X_x

A solo lovebird is much more affectionate toward his owner than a lovebird with a mate. This is because the lovebird thinks of his owner as a mate :).
