can i officially apologize for the choice of music? haha, i understand your argument, OneRepublic isn't good music, and certainly shouldn't be used with a film such as this. Maybe my music taste has evolved... i made this video a long time ago. Anyway, thanks for the criticism, maybe I will re-edit this video with a different song.
This song ruined the sentimental value The Darjeeling Limited stands for. While TDL tries to uphold the magic of 70's music and Indian wonders, they replaced it with mediocre music that gets overplayed in your local smooth rock station. wtf.
One of the most beautfiul films I have ever seen. Truly one of the films to see before you die. It just makes me well up with tears of great heaving emotion each time.
Pity this vid was ruined by one the worst songs ever made. Get some Kinks on there mate!
this time tomorrow... where will we be? this was my favorite slow-mo by wes anderson... followed VERY closely by the funeral scene in royal tenenbaums. wonderful!
The movie was never meant to carry a point. Its suppose to highlight the idea that the journey is the greater part. The eldest brother(Owen Wilson) was basically the only driving force in the entire film. When the kids die in the river it was a turning point for them. An acceptance of death, and a way to highlight that death brings people together. Note how the entire village embraced them when they were leaving. Anyways, bad music for the movie. Cool montage.
Its put together well, but you completely missed the point of the movie. The movie was supposed to feel disappointed/humorous. This makes the movie waaay too serious.
wat the bleep this is a good montage even though the song is considered pop and populasr wait same thing anywaay yeah dargling was a masteroiece that all there is 2 it
dude the song is all wrong if u watched the movie and understood it on ANY lvl ud know that he may of well of whacked old mcdonald had a farm over that shot.
this is genius... loved the movie suprised it didnt getter better reviews oh well at leat we all know in our hearts how great this movie was from the cinamotography, music, actors, clothes and well the wonderfull message at the end thanks again

this is blasphemy, horrible choice of song. Couldve chosen any from the movie soundtrack and it would have been 10x better.

Hahaha. This song is an easily forgotten typical pop ditty and the movie is a meaningful, impressive story. This totally clashes.

no, that's in the beginning, but I mean in the end, when all three of 'em jump on the train and leave their father's bags behind

I always thought somebody should use One Republic for Darjeeling Ltd. Only Dreaming Out Loud would've done better.

Why is the very first shot reversed? It went right-to-left in the movie...

the beginning scene is straight from the movie, no reversal. By the way, it is right-to-left
