Wow is this a joke? That guy was a complete asshole. Hardly let the guy get a word in to defend himself after he dragged on and on about how he just wanted to use other people and that he was the "embodiment of greed and selfishness" etc.
Socialism does have good intentions. But Capitalism has the same intentions without the government force and coercion. THe fundamental difference between capitalism and socialism is one relies on voluntary trade between two parties, the other relies on the state confiscating wealth to redistribute it in what those running the state deem as "fair" or "just." Both are dangerous when perverted and corrupted, but the fact that one is based in violence and one in peace should make the choice obvious.
