Ben Franklin always seemed a blowhard! His face adorns $100 bill. Every nuance that he uttered alway seemed to make sence. Please understand that we here in the United States wish no harm to any other sovereign. Yet, persons from other countries find a way to impugn this "work in progress" we call an independent republic. We'll get it right someday.
Yes we owe Trillions to China and others, at least we are finally getting use to the fact.
If you were born in the UK you were probably influenced by the elitist preachings of trendy-twat-in-the-know journalists reiterating "Commercial sell out!" And yes it does sound a bit like Girls on Film meets To Hell With Poverty...but who cares...it's a good pop tune by a solid band...So Fuck You NME etc!
KevinHeaven9, Gang of Four did not use a synth! Guitar, bass, drums and vocals. This is one of their worst tracks with horrible 's production, but you should try their first 3 albums. The band were a big influence on many, including Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
i don't hate this, but i mean, they took the whole synthpop thing a little far for what they were.... i just also wanna clarify that I like songs of the free, and i even like early 80's synthpop and new wave... but this just sounds kind of wrong to me...
Thanks for uploading. Have "It Don't Matter" lying around?

Too much synthopop makes KevinHeaven9 a bad boy.

This is a huge slap in the face to a fan of the shamelessly cheap drums and purposely "anti-solo" guitar work of prior GoF works
Jesus
This sounds like the opening theme to an 80s movie starring Rob Lowe
GoF why????? The same thing happened to the Clash when they switched to drum machines. I just don't understand
