  • well done! one of the best ambient-ish guitar vids I´ve seen on yt! congrats!

pd: check strymon timeline or blueSky pedals...superb ones for dreamy stuff (but expensive)

  • @puggo thanks a ton greatly appreciated!

  • 1st, great song

2nd, as a fan of ambient rock as i call it, i'm starting to dive into the pool, i have a looper already(EHX2880), but am realizing it's limitations are the limitations that will kill my prgress, that being said, I'm sold on the Boomerang, but just curious if you tried the Boss rc-300(or rc-50)?

i want to get my ass in gear so any help would be appreciated

did i say cool tune? oh, great song...

  • @ZOMBIELANDakaUSA well first i appreciate the kind comment and glad you enjoyed it. I have not tried either, only reason being they were just to big for what i wanted but they have been proven. Lookup boss loop competition and you will see some that are great with it.

  • @mynameistin

I was a bit concerned about the size of the RC-300,but i only have the GT-10 so technically i saved some room from many pedals(w/respect),so i think i may ok with the size factor,my main concern is how close is the RC-300 to the Rang 3 in similar functionality.I've done tons of research, but no solid reference.i should just buy them bothe and compare.

anyway, keep up the great INSPIRATIONAL work, i look forward to buying some of your music...

  • @mynameistin at 20seconds in, when you started playing, how do you like get the droney type of sound? like the verrry verry dreamy sound. would be great if you reply!

  • @bostonsons, i believe it should be (mainly) the wet reverb with the depth cranked and the carbon copy on high repeats low mix. thanks for watching

  • Is all the ambient stuff the hall of fame and wet and other delays only?

  • @thejokesonyou16, what exactly do you mean? like there any post processing involved per say because if so nothing except panning left and right channels.

  • @mynameistin

Great Video Man, If i may, Two Questions: 1. What amps are you using, i see a vox, but what other one are you using? And 2nd. Could you make a Video Showing your pedalboard and showing the different pedals and how you get your sounds?

    Thanks, Alan

  • @AlanWillever, thanks for the kind compliment! its a VOX Ac15 and a Fender Blues Junior.

  • @AlanWillever As far as video on the pedalboard im currently going to be leaving the country shortly so i assembled a smaller portable pedalboard but i can try to whip something up.

  • good work. reverse stuff was really up my street

  • @corduroyfarmer glad you liked it.

  • @mynameistin

i used to have a similar set up for live looping. when you have a sequence that feels like its progressing along (subtly changing) without getting too mushy is difficult, but you do that.

not a million miles from labradford.

nice to hear the bridge/middle pickup too. i usually dislike that sound.

  • @corduroyfarmer, thanks alot...yeah when playing my strat i typically prefer the middle pickup

  • What are your settings for your Hall of Fame? Great sound!

  • @BristanKellerUSAF its been awhile but it looks like the decay is maxed, fx level at noon, tone somewhere between 1 and 3 o clock, the mode looks like plate. i cant remember exactly so im judging by what the pedal settings look like. good luck and thanks for watching!

  • Love this! It sounds great! Oh, and also,in my own opinion, I think it'd sound better if you played the whole line once through then record it on the loop. It keeps the trail continuing in a very nice loop.... No stopping sound at the beginning of the loop like I noticed. Though it's really not noticeable when you're layering everything on top. Keep up the awesome work and wonderful music!

  • @DavidMackey11 thanks! yep it can be heard but this ended up being my better take and as you said once its all going it blends together. again thanks for watching!

  • how do you do all the pitch shifting stuff ? just the micro pog ?

  • @lalapat, yes...i also use my super delay in the reverse mode c for that "sparkle" which i think is what you are talking about

  • sick setup!

  • what a big box near Nova Delay...What is this?

  • @MrGuitarmadness its a line6 m9...thanks for watching.

  • Hey hey! this is some mighty nice stuff! I'm wondering if you're running all those reverbs all at a go on this track? Or is it just the WET?

  • @skipper53 thanks for watching, at :30 i engage the hall of fame and at that point they are all engaged.

  • wow i need me a boomerang. this is excellent

  • It would be better if you'd show your hands, because you play some mad sh*t so in some moments i can't udnerstand, from where you get those sounds :DDD example some notes in the beggining, which you reversed :DD nice string sound))

  • Thanks for this video! Lush! I wish more people would do this showing, not telling thing. People playing their best licks through a new pedal does not paint a good picture for me. Keep it up!

  • @FortInsley next video i try to have it maybe a bit above me to show more! Thanks for the kind comment and watching

  • hey,man.could you tell for newbie - for what u use compressor?thanks

P.S.It's an Ernie Ball volume pedal?

  • @MrGuitarmadness Thanks! yes its an ernie ball

  • great stuff again mate ^5

  • very nice-the WET is awesome

  • Nice stuff Justin. I really like this one!

  • yeah, WET and Strymon BlueSky are the best reverbs ever made.

  • @smnewthtrblnmnd so far with the wet i am totally agreeing, maybe the bluesky one day

  • Nice feet. So dexterous. :P
