You don't need a full circle to show that it works or does not work - you are missing asymmetry that Milows motor showed early on with only a partial circle. Check the early videos - or read the Spring 1980 Science & Mechanics to see what I am trying to explain.

At point 3:30 Sterling asks Bob is about the results of the 200 to 20 RPM platter test spin with no magnets.

Bob replys with, "I dont want to say". I cant imagine why he would want to hold back such a arbitary bit of info.

OK ..after reviewing your machine here..there are several problems here...one major problem is you have drilled a hole through the horseshoe magnet!!! that's a no, no..it changes the field completely!!! There are many other things as well. If you will notice Mylow "GLUES" the Horseshoe magnet to the horizontal brace!!!

Also, the aluminum posts did not help Mylow..so you are making changes in the wrong direction. I see about 5 other thinsg that keep you from getting rotation...

The aluminum on the stator is very important because al. acts like a "magnetic field reflector". Those plastic legs should go.

By not having this AL. on the stator legs like mylow , you can NOT expect to replicate the magnetic fields he was getting.

I have been working on all kinds of magnet motor designs. Yes, the right configuration for a magnet motor will cause it to spin but it will not produce any extractable energy as long as the motor's movement is only 2-dimensional. You have to build a 3-dimensional magnet motor if you want to extract energy from it. 2-D rotation provides just enough energy to run itself, but a 3-D motor will provide the over-unity you need for energy extraction. All 2-D magnet motors will only be toys.
