Would you/he say that the School is worth it? Not in a rude way. Just that I want to attend a good school for game dev but do not want to waste time and money.
my 9 yr old son learned to use computers when he was 4 or so. he's very inventive, loves to draw and loves video games. i think this may be his calling. will going to a school like this (when he's older, of course) give him an advantage as far as getting a job in the industry?
@darkshadow556 I graduated the month after these guys. You have to use C++ to build the game, and C# to build any tools. Other than that, you don't have many limits except making a working game. It has to be 3D, and it has to have animated meshes. The tools they provide are HP Workstation Laptops and Microsoft Visual Studio. It's pretty smooth.
3-NETWORKING IS the #1 thing you have to focus on after studying. Talk to your teachers, classmates. Go to the auditorium when there's a presentation. GO TO GDC! even if you think you're not good enough. It will boost your morale and get your feet wet in the gaming industry and how it works.DO NOT BE SHY!
2- You will have students from classes ahead that have failed

@RassoRascal34 They have networking courses. If you pay attention, you get all the networking information you need for the gaming industry. Send/Receive is all there is.
To those that are excited about Full Sail, there's a lotta things that you have to know before you start:
1-The people you start with the program will be 99% different than those you end up with in final project.
-Some fail a class or 2(which isn't a judge of their preformance, some classes are harder than others and the one month a class pace doesn't help either)
Dude I'm so ready to go get my bachelor's degree in game development here! I wanna be one of the programmers on a team. And compared to everyone else apparently Josh is a beast. Haha
i really am thinking of attending this school looks AMAZING
