  • wow thats HUFGE

  • @guitarbridgecleaner Crackpot.

  • the mainstream components featured in this plane are a bliss. it's gonna be a hell of a lot easier and cheaper to maintain as a completely new approach.

  • Which do you think is better platform the P-8A or the Kawasaki P-1.

Both planes are launched fairly at the same time.

  • @drummerboy5192. I still fly on the P-3 and i agree its a was wonderful aircraft but with all the issues its had over the last few years I think its time for a change. If for anything else for safety reasons. Plus the systems are much better.

  • never knew 737s could attack submarines lol

  • @scenepointjudge What would happen to make you an expert on the P-8 and its systems? Much flight time on the Poseiden or any Tactical platform for that matter?

  • @bbwalker665 1) Logic. I possess it, unlike most people claiming this aircraft is God's gift to aviation. 2) Around 2000 hours tactically, 850ish of those being combat time. Anything else?

  • Nope nothing else but since between you and me i'm the only one with seat time on P-3 and P-8 tactical systems how about we leave the "Logic" as you put it to the experts. Also for the record no one I work with thinks this aircraft is gods gift to avation. Just a quality replacement to a very out dated aircraft.

  • @bbwalker665 my dad navigated on the p-3. one beautiful aircraft if you ask me.

  • This is so far from reality I nearly vomited in my mouth. I love how the actors try to make it dramatic by pausing and staring at each other. Classic.

  • Watching a buoy drop in the water in this video is more exciting than the entire P-8 concept. P-8 is worthless.

  • its not a concept anymore...

  • P-8 is worthless???? LOL. I am sure you are WAY more educated about the situation than the people making the decisions. Have you seen one? You must have a large number of flight hours running the sensors in the back huh? Probably a P-3 guy mad because they are taking the Dinosaur away.

  • It's called logic, friend.

  • LOL... I am sure your solution to replacing a aircraft that flew in 1959 is way more efficient than the Navy's.

  • @turboinside88 I'm willing to bet you're a tech-rep that worked on the P-8. Either that, or just ignorant.

  • @scenepointjudge I bet you are wrong, but what I do know is you have know idea what you are talking about. I am at the ONLY command that is soon to have it. Its funny that all the dubs seem to think it will be a great aircraft. With that being said how much do you know about it? NOTHING!!!! You are showing your ignorance.

  • holy crap its like a submarine in the air!

  • Why the hell is it so big though? Seems very inconceivable.

  • It's not big... It's a 737.

  • can't wait. that will be a pimp ride compared to p-3's. maybe it will have a toilet that flushes.

  • Kick. Ass. Period.

  • Nice video ... but maybe Boeing should have remembered that the lead export customer for the P-8 is the Indian Navy, which is also a major operator of the Kilo class submarines. The image of a P-8 killing a friendly sub is definitely not a good one for a sales pitch :P

  • Good point! hahahahaha

  • WOW.. that is amazing:) great job for boeing:)..... nice vid.. cheers...

  • WOW cool
