FACT: The Original Godzilla film was originally filmed in Color, however Ishiro thought the film could be more menacing if filmed in Black and White, so it was edited on a Black and White film

@FireBoshy no, they where gonna film it on color but then the budget ran short so they just did the movie in b&w, however it turned out the black and white actually helped the film, covering strings, rods as well as giving the movie an eerie atmosphere. this here is from luigi cozzi's edited color version, which maybe is the rarest kaiju film ever (the cozzi one, not the original)

In my opinion, the colour makes the original film scarier and they're actually is a coloured Godzilla film, but it came out only in Italy in 1977.

I must say that those scenes from the original looked pretty cool in color. But I like the fact that it's all in black&white. It adds more to the earieness of the film!

Well this color footage is from an unreleased Italian version of the film. This version may not even exist anymore.

Well.... it depends. There isn't an "Official" DVD for Godzilla vs biollante in North America. Dimension AKA HBO has the North American Distrobution rights to this film. your guess is as good as mine.

2012, an it's an American Reboot by Legendary Pictures.

3-D to the max was scrapped an if Legendary Pictures Godzilla does well Toho probably wont make anymore Godzilla films for a little while.
