TIP for tenderizing the octapus. As it is stated in the video, the freshly cought octapus should be hit on a hard surface (60 -80 times depending on its weight-may need more than 80 hits !! ) but it also requires scrubing it on the i.e. hard rock between the hits (say every 10 hits or so). Hope that helps. Secret: Bicarbonate soda (cooking soda) helps !! Nicos
Poli kalo, but those are just babies, let them grow.
I like just a big chunk from a big octopus cooked very very slow with black beans 5-8 hours, add rice or barley about an hour before serving. From heaven.
You really know your stuff and you're a beautiful Greek woman. How good does it get? Keep Cooking and videoing, I love your concept!! Greek Food TV...Great.
@RatkoUSA yeah me 2 and i was getting frustrated cs i was going to the greek islands every year and i was tasting it but i couldn't recreate it. Really annoying cs i live in an island 2 right next to greece

Wow, I didn't know I needed to tenderize it.
No wonder mine was like chewing on shoe leather.
