Joel is a lying devil. They are not all Israel who are Israel, only children of promise are counted for the seed. The chosen people of God are those who put faith in Jesus for salvation. @mkadams99 I guess you have not read the Bible. God has not forgotten about His people, many Jews will come to Christ during the tribulation period. The Jews worship the true God, but have missed the first coming of Jesus. Besides, we should pray for the Jews and the Muslims that they would come to the knowledge of the truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Are you talking about the dispensational ABUSE of Dan.9:24-27, specifically v.27, and the false assertion that the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy is still seeking future fulfillment? This "gap theory" (inserting an @ 2,000 yr. gap between the 69th and 70th weeks) has been thoroughly refuted over and over again! It is clear that Daniel's prophecy was a continual one (no "gaps").

@guardafango1 I totally accept your apology, my friend. I know that when futurists hear an opposing viewpoint, sometimes they just assume the other person is a preterist. The Reformers who wrote treatises on Bible prophecy during, and after the Reformation were neither futurist, or preterist...they were historicists (that is what I am). Yes, I'm a Trinitarian, Sabbatarian (7th day) Reformed (Monergist) Baptist.

1) There is no such thing as "replacement theology". This is a made-up word that dispensational futurist use to try to 'poison the well' in a dialogue about whether God has a plan for the Jewish people.

2) Rosenberg's entire eschatological system is based upon fallacious assertions, and anachronistic misinterpretations of certain O.T. prophecies.

*Don't be fooled by his false prophetic system of Dispensational Futurism. This man has no clue about the truth of God's prophetic word.

And notice Rosenberg's misuse, and ABUSE of Gen.12:1-3 (@8:00); he thinks this passage is referring to modern Jews (or, the nation-state of Israel...it's hard to tell because of his inconsistent eschatology).

Yet, Gen.12:1-3 is quoted in the N.T.! Please, people, do some studying on the N.T. use of the O.T. (especially Gen.12:1-3)! This man is teaching a false prophetic system, based upon his traditions, rather than the exegesis of Scripture!

This does NOT mean, however, that the modern, nation-state of Israel has any pivotal role to play in Bible prophecy...it most assuredly does not! If you read my response (below), you will see that I refuted Rosenberg's fallacious assertions regarding Gen.12:1-3. This is a common text that is abused by dispensational/futurists.

@guardafango1 When Abraham went into Hagar and had a child with her, was Ishmael the fulfillment of God's promise of a child? NO, Isaac, was the child of promise! Neither is "restoration" of Israel a fulfillment of prophecy! It's not all about the secular nation of Israel! It's all about the TRUE Israel, JESUS! Read Isaiah 49 and Especially verse 3! ONLY those of faith are true seeds of Abraham and true Israel (Romans 2, Galatians 3). All others, whether "jew or gentile" are of the devil!

The promise was made to The broken House and He will unite them again in Messiah Yeshua as Ezekiel the prophet declared in chapter 37.

Come on Joel. You're missing so much here. You are in fact more true Israel through your Irish mother than through your Jewish father. You came to know Christ through the promises God gave to Abraham which passed down through your Irish ancestors who had been true Israel at one point hundreds of years before Christ. Study Hosea 1. Write down the three judgments and the three promises given to those ten northern tribes, true Israel. You are missing a lot here.

Rosenberg distinguishes between Islamic threat of annihilation & Christendom threat of delegitimization, but the Christendom replacement theology threat IS a threat of annihilation, b/c we know from scripture that it will not be Islam that "rides the beast" directing the Antichrist, but a religious harlot whose description sounds like the interfaith one world religion. It seems it will be by "peace" not war that the Tribulation-starting covenant is signed.
