Not everyone can get to NYC to see a show...Most of the Bway shows I have seen were touring companies, though I have seen abt 21 shows on Bway. The only touring co that I hated,wa, after seing it on Bway was Anything Goes... Bway-Patti LuPone,,,tour Mitzi Gaynor (way past her prime) !

oh and sets are a little different too on tours so that another reason i dot like tours as much, even though performances dont change as much.

I say broadway has more energy, but it seems tours are more clearer. I like broadway better

another thing i dont understand is why Brenda is in YCSTB- Didnt she leave cause she was pregnant? i am assuming the whole play takes place in 9 months at least and Brenda has already had the baby?"?

This whole play takes place in about a weeks time, and Brenda is still in this show, mostly not because of the story, but because Broadway producers don;t want to pay someone who works for a quarter of the show, then sits out the rest. Plus, maybe CC kept her until she got... bumpy

I talked to one of the producers in the last performanc eon broadway and thye said it was because brendalost her baby. Haha

yeah i agree the tour cast has lots of energy. But the broadway band is tighter. however ive seen the tour 3xs and have spoken with some of the musicians and they said its really difficult because they have to pack up each night and diffrent venues have different sound sytems. but all 3xs i saw the show the band was rocking and had a tight groove going to Way to go tour Band!!!
