  • @ande408a Yes, actually he startet his own team. A continental team here in Denmark.. But he isn't as good as he was back in the "good old days" :p

  • @ande408a Yes he did. But he wasn't caught. The couldn't prove it. But, you know, there is no smoke without fire

  • @ande408a Yes he did. But he wasn't caught. The couldn't prove it. But, you know, there is no smoke without fire

  • casually takes a drink whilst blasting down a mountain lol

  • Good thing he isn't scared like people on TV are! LOL, that's inredible skill.

  • this man was an unbelievable climber, 2007 TDF suppose to be his, it was stolen from him

  • @danishsatire Riis never tested positive, he admitted it later, the UCI is far more corrupt then most realize

  • Drugs or not, Rasmussen one of the few hero's wich can descent like this!

  • WOW..very fast

  • I have some descending tips for beginners. 1. Look at the apex of the corner, and when you get there shift your sight to the exit of the corner on the outside edge. 2. Press your weight on your outside foot and squeeze the inside handlebar. 3. Practice the same tight turn over and over again. Once you master it, move onto the next turn you can find. 4. Don't be afraid of the bicycle slipping, the only time that is real danger is when the road is wet. Take a physics class to gain confidence!

  • Moto GP style biking

  • Fuck Contador I bet he knew he had lost the tour, the Chicken would have won! But then everybody bued him in the mountains so his team "fired" him

  • Kyllingen flyver!

  • 0:27, damn that's quick

  • You can say what you want about the Chicken... but he defiantly ain't a chicken while descending!

  • @bikeboy2000

Well... he's been tested at other times (when they managed to find him... or HE managed to find himself...) and as far as I know he's never been tested positive... just think of those days he was in yellow in 2007... he would've been tested everyday! Don't you think we would've heard it by now if he was positive back then?

Though he COULD have used something to calm his nerves on that TT back in 2005...

  • @bikeboy2000 whole Rabobank is full of EPO

  • @bikeboy2000 if i dint love rasmussen so much would i give u a dislike for ur video just for saying that...

  • @RedheadDane they called him chicken in denmark because he was so light

  • @thom229

No... actually the reason he's called chicken is, to quote Wikipedia:

"His nickname in Danish is Kyllingen (English: The Chicken), originating from his period as a mountain biker when teammates were watching the Danish children's TV show, Bamses Billedbog, about a bear and a chicken. A large team mechanic was nicknamed Bear, and so Rasmussen was dubbed The Chicken."

  • @thom229 okay sorry

  • @RedheadDane definitely not defiantly. They're very different!

  • @quartercherries

Yeah... one of my friends pointed that out to me not long after I'd written this...

(Though they DO sound sorta-alike if you aren't a native-speaker...)

  • Well in 2007 he smashed Contador, so why should it not be possible to doit again in 2010 or 2011? he been trained about 65.000 km last year so he is in a okey shape i queus.

  • 65000 in a year? That's 178 KM per day for 365 days! 111 miles a day every day for a year?

  • Yes im danish and i readed it on the danish newspaper, well some times he cyckle 250km by him self.

  • He was doped out of his mind in 2007. With the bio passport it is much harder to get away with being so doped unless your lance or alberto....

Anyways most of the training he did while suspended was base, he doesn't have and race miles in his legs. He needs to work on intensity if we wants to even get good enough to get signed to a team that gets a tour invite.

Lastly, age is not on his side. He is well past his peak age and gets worse each year.

  • I could do that with my specialized hard rock sport MTB

  • Who feels like Chicken tonight?

  • @lucci999 Mr doping??? What does this impressive bike handling have to do with doping? F' off lucci999!

  • Impressive bike handling??? Any pro could do that, watch his TT and then tell me he has good bike handling technique.

  • @SwedishBeatballs Not every pro can go that quickly around corners on a descent, he is taking major risks here... Have you ever rode a TT bike? Road bikes and TT bikes feel different, especially in a race. Cornering is more difficult on a TT bike, and Rasmussen obviously hadn't practiced enough on his TT bike. If I am thinking about the same day that you are... Get your facts straight before you make flawed claims.

  • If not every pro can descend quickly then why are you all complimenting him on his average decent.

Obviously TT bikes arn't nearly as good at handling as a road bike. I still stand by my comment that he sucks at handling, the coarse is released well before the race starts, Rabobank would have seen there was a downhill in the TT. Rasmussen is the only one to blame.

  • Cool story!

  • @SwedishBeatballs i understand freedom of critisicm. butttt you suck at handeling.

  • @stOOpin4U

I'm sorry, have we ever gone on a ride together?

  • @SwedishBeatballs im sorry do you ride for team saxo bank? are you andy schleckk comeon now stop messing around here, everyone knows your just an internet troll trying to pick fights with teenagers. just give up its kinda pathetic

  • @SwedishBeatballs your not fooling anyone

  • @stOOpin4U

Ok fine I'll admit it. THIS WAS THE BEST DECENT EVER DONE. LITTLE CHICKEN MAN IS WORLD RENOWNED FOR IS TECHNICAL SKILLS. NO ONE CAN EVER STAY ON HIS WHEEL GOING DOWN HILL. HES A FUCKING GOD.

If your going to use sarcasm at least ask if im Paolo Savoldelli or Samuel Sánchez. Andy is in the same boat as Rasmussen. At least they are better than Frank....oh boy.

  • @SwedishBeatballs someone had daddy issues

  • @SwedishBeatballs BTW your gay buttt i used schleck because hes relatively well know and sanchez is pretty damn swift but nott so far of schlecks ability to descend that it was in a way my sarcasm was appropriate. idk about grammer your not really worth my time

  • @stOOpin4U

Wow you really know allot about my life based off these comments, Bravo.

Apparently I am because you bothered to write that. This is the internet you could of just walked away and nothing would ever come of it.

You picked Schleck cuz you don't know anything about cycling, hence the reason you say Rasmussen is one of the best descenders.

See you in a year because you probably don't watch any races other than the tour.

  • sick ride

  • he can beat him uphill... He is the only man who can outclimb Contador..

I still think he has it...

  • He does not still have it in him. Have you watched any of his races this year?

  • @SwedishBeatballs

    Appearently he was sick!

  • Maybe he is coming back next year!! :D

    (MAYBE)

  • It would just be great to see him again :D

  • I really hope he comes back and smokes contador!

  • M Rasmussen was awesome

  • This Can teach a contador

  • Ras was incredible in the mountains. HE COULD CLIMB!!! too bad his legacy is soiled now. i used to love watching him ascend and descend.

  • Very nice descending, but very risky too.

  • THe best..

  • colnago extreme-c. the best!

  • M RASMUSSEN THE BEST!!

  • mGard thats right ;)

  • Rasmussen rules. I can't see why the tour-management won't let Rasmussen participate anymore, but have no quarrels in letting former dopers join the race..

THEY ARE SCARED OF HIM, BECAUSE HE IS THE BEST

  • because he was sacked by his own team, currently has no contract and missed doping tests and told lies which is very strange as a clean rider shouldnt be afraid of being tested unless he has something to hide.

cheaters like him, ricco and so on have to be kicked out forever!

  • 2 bad you dont know anything about it, then you could probably say something of significance..

  • too bad im following cycling for over a decade and im glad cheaters like him are kicked out.

someone who does not obey to the rules and regulations deserves no spot in the peloton.

  • When MR was in the yellow jersey, he was the most monitored rider for a long time. Doping tests every day. Nobody got any positive results on him. And besides that.. Why can former dope-convicted participate in le tour, when a man they -suspect- may have used doping, isn't welcomed in the tour ever again?

  • Maybe if someone was willing to hire him, he would make a return. Coming to a team tinkoff near you...

  • YEH! i think lifetime bans would go a long way to cleaning up pro cycling in a few years.

  • @mGard its becuse hes danish ^^ if he were fr, ita or spa he would come back.

  • doper

  • prove that

  • Man thats so cool ...but if u fall ... you are fucked up

  • The ONLY true winner of the tour 2007=Rasmussen..They just didnt want him to win!

  • Rasmussen is voor mij de winnaar van de tour 2007, de Rabobank heeft nu de internationale naam gekregen over de rug van Rasmussen.

  • We've won the race once, twice if not for some lame french bastards

  • Go Rasmussen! The french love him, just french tv hate him.

  • wow ... big booolllssss
