Can anyone explain to me why The Book of Enoch is not included in the mainstream Christian canon? (Except of course w/ the Ethiopian Orthodox Church or something like that).
I've read articles & stories stating that this book is too strange & contradictory to the Bible as whole. Or the old Biblical authorities are hiding something from the masses.
Please clarify. This includes of course other "unaccepted" books.

I have "a new translation, the dead sea scrolls" from what ive gathered thus far its not contriradictory at all, in fact it only eleborates further on some areas left vague in the mainstream cannon. The reason this book wasn't put in the bible because it shows that the most high who is eternal, couldn't have impregnated Mary because if he did Christ would have been born a giant and would of haved an evil spirit. The bible says that Christ is from the seed of David, but the churches teach different.
Wrong. The Bible clearly says that Jesus has no earthly father. You are limiting God with that assumption. Just because a fallen angel would produce a giant and evil spirit does not mean that God would. Remember, man was created in Gods image.

In order for Christ to come from the seed of David, he needed an earthly father. That earthly father was joseph. Joseph came from the loins of david.

Col. 1:15 refers to Jesus as the firstborn over all creation

this is true.....but we have to get this out to people. The Bibles have been changed very cleverly. The King James version is the only true word of God. Only by fasting and prayer can we deal with the higher level demons. Many of the later translations take out the word fasting. This means that those that have been reading the later translations will not be able to deal with the more powerful demons.

I have found that in the king James version, for example, to deal with the coming appearance of demons of a higher level, Prayer and fasting is needed. In many Bibles it just says "prayer" is mentioned but not fasting. This is a big problem. I have found that secrecy raises doubt and suspicion and rightly so in many cases. Open the Vatican library and let the people decide what are truth and which are not truth.
There is a rumor, that the Vatican even has old Torah scrolls that they stole from the Temple of Solomon. If true, then they are the most ancient on earth, even older than the ones the Iraqi Jewish community has. Scrolls decay, and copying a torah scroll is a long, arduous and tedious process. If that library does posses the originals assuming they survived, again, its possible that the Catholic Church in Rome has the oldest Torah scrolls on earth.

The Book of Enoch was indeed quoted by many including Jesus Christ himself, it was reguarded as being canon by the early church before it was decided not to include it in the Bibical Canon books.
However many fragments were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls along with fragments of many of the books of the Bible, pretty much another indication that it is in fact a true gospel that was suppressed because of the stupidity of man not being to accept that which he does not understand.
I don't see any contradiction either, the book of Enoch is always praising The Most High, even more it has been quoted by Moises in the book of Genesis, quoted by jude in the book of Jude and quoted by Paul in the Book of Hebrews.

The book actually tells about everything that would happen before it did. If they left it in they couldnt keep up their foolishness. Freemasons destroyed our Holy Book. I love the Book of Enoch. And I also see why they refrained from placing this in King James Bible's and almost erasing it out of history....It puts science to a dead end.
I agree, the book of Enoch is a cool book. How ever I've only read just a small part of it. I can understand the controversy but don't say things like putting science to a dead end. Science is needed in Christian theology. I'm a minister and I use scientifics in my ministry.

Enoch is still human flesh as he was in his days. Because he lives in heaven, he will not die nor get sick.
Eliajah is another human who lives in heaven, and did not die.
When Enoch and Eliajah return to Earth, they will die eventually. They will be witnesses for God in the end times, and they will return.

Notice how the book of Revelation is interpreted differently among the denominations!
This book of Enoch is a fascinating piece of evidence that "if" taken as a part of the Canon Bible, it would change a lot our Biblical, Historical and Theological training obtained from various sources of intensive preparation in this field of calling as Ministers of the Word.

Wrong. The Bible clearly says that Jesus has no earthly father. You are limiting God with that assumption. Just because a fallen angel would produce a giant and evil spirit does not mean that God would. Remember, man was created in Gods image.

Also, you would be calling the Bible a liar because it clearly says that angel came to Mary and told her she would have a child, although was a virgin. Later an angel came to Joseph and told him the same thing.

The meaning of virgin was different in biblical times. A virgin ment when a women was of the age to marry(have sex) when her cycle started.

The Gospels give two separate genealogies. The first one appears in Matthew 1 and the second is in Luke 3. In Matthew, it says that Jacob begot Joseph, meaning Joseph is the son of Jacob. In Luke however, it says he is the son of Heli.
Heli is generally understood to be the father of the Virgin Mary. Under Judaic Law a woman could bear the family name if two terms were met.
She could not have any brothers (Num 27:8), and she had to marry within her own tribe (Num 36:6-7).

this is true.....but we have to get this out to people. The Bibles have been changed very cleverly. The King James version is the only true word of God. Only by fasting and prayer can we deal with the higher level demons. Many of the later translations take out the word fasting. This means that those that have been reading the later translations will not be able to deal with the more powerful demons.

Don't take my word for it.....we all have to recheck each others research and study. I have found that in the king James version, for example, to deal with the coming appearance of demons of a higher level, Prayer and fasting is needed. In many Bibles it just says "prayer" is mentioned but not fasting. This is a big problem. Others you will find have moved and subjugated verses and others have made God gender neutral This is only a few examples. Google and study this. Its amazing.

The book of Enoch was originally written down by the coptic church; being closer to Israel, the Christian Church in Egypt had more respect for the near eastern origins of Christianity, where Rome, STROVE to remove ALL near eastern influences, and I mean ALL, including stories and oral traditions considered "too semitic" for Roman audiences. you have to remember revalation would of not been in the holy bible if it was not 4 enoch the chucrch fathers felt it was to much fire and heaven a hell to deep 4 peaple to read.you have to remember there our only 2 peaple that never tasted death elijah and enoch dont you think that means something. there are such powerful great works written by enoch its not about u better be good book its about u and a relationship with god and whats waiting 4 u when u live wright and know god!!!!!!!

When we demand the evidence that for some reason needs to be kept under lock and key "with guards" Not open too the masses to freely decide what is and isn't, you will be led to believe what others decide is right for you.
I have found that secrecy raises doubt and suspicion and rightly so in many cases. Open the Vatican library and let the people decide what are truth and which are not truth.

There is a rumor, that the Vatican even has old Torah scrolls that they stole from the Temple of Solomon. If true, then they are the most ancient on earth, even older than the ones the Iraqi Jewish community has. Scrolls decay, and copying a torah scroll is a long, arduous and tedious process. If that library does posses the originals assuming they survived, again, its possible that the Catholic Church in Rome has the oldest Torah scrolls on earth.

Before I believe the info being released regarding the book of Enoch and what is written within his Gospel. I would ask to see the original for myself and not the released version.

Many people don't realize who actually assembled the NEW TESTAMENT.
I invite those who don't understand, to please Google Emperor Constantine. There were many different factions of Christianity in those times,causing many problems for his Empire.
I would also invite the masses to ask the Vatican why its Library is locked and guarded?
My statement is simple, I strongly suspect that all has not be revealed to us, that some truths have been hidden

i wonder if the book of enoch was too hard to consider cannon because it's so supernatural and it speaks about a very/extremely uncomfortable subject and huge judgement. I think fear made man withdraw it from cannon but I would seriously consider it especially as he himself is mentioned in scripture and I think his book?

The Book of Enoch was indeed quoted by many including Jesus Christ himself, it was reguarded as being canon by the early church before it was decided not to include it in the Bibical Canon books.
However many fragments were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls along with fragments of many of the books of the Bible, pretty much another indication that it is in fact a true gospel that was suppressed because of the stupidity of man not being to accept that which he does not understand.

I don't see any contradiction either, the book of Enoch is always praising The Most High, even more it has been quoted by Moises in the book of Genesis, quoted by jude in the book of Jude and quoted by Paul in the Book of Hebrews.

The book actually tells about everything that would happen before it did. If they left it in they couldnt keep up their foolishness. Freemasons destroyed our Holy Book. I love the Book of Enoch. And I also see why they refrained from placing this in King James Bible's and almost erasing it out of history....It puts science to a dead end.

I agree, the book of Enoch is a cool book. How ever I've only read just a small part of it. I can understand the controversy but don't say things like putting science to a dead end. Science is needed in Christian theology. I'm a minister and I use scientifics in my ministry.
