Does this only need to be plugged into the lighter input? Because my car doesn't have an aux Jack and I can only find transmitters that use the aux Jack. I'm looking for one that plays it through only the lighter input

Ive been serching everywhere for a device that does what the new belkin does BUT WITHOUT the fixed cradle charging poingt as my ciggerette lighter is in a strange place and makes this set up impossible to use. Ironically i need the old style belkin but with the new feature that allows you to use the device for handsfree talking in the car. Hence music fades out and then lets you take using stereo speakers to amplify the callers voice. any help much appreciated

Hey, I'm just wondering, is there a sleeve that will fit an iphone which has a casing on it? I realised your iphone didn't have a hard case on it when you attached it onto the fm transmitter, and was wondering if i would have to use this fm transmitter sleeve-less if i wanted to keep my iphone casing on :)

I got one of these things for my ipod Touch and it didn't fit in the cradle and wasn't supported by the software.

1 How do you take your phone calls (do you have to pull the phone out of the cradle ?)

2. Can you use this along with a bluetooth headset (redirect calls to the headset ?). In this case, will both speaker and mic be redirected to bluetooth (I hope so)

3. If only they had provided atleast one USB power output for another device (namely my gps!).. hmmm

I just bought one, works fine so far. Only the support for my nano (1st G) expired, there is no cradle for it anymoe in the package. I just called Belkin support and they are going to send me one for my nano...for free. Giddy'up!!:-)
