hah i love how dramatic today tonight is "FALSE", and the suspicious music, sometimes i feel like im watching a conspiracy documenty or michel moore... hahaha its so un-necessary today tonight is a rubbish show... i miss the chasers paying them out!.. this is a great story though ! :)
I'm going dumpster diving next time I'm at ALDI!! I always buy my veggies from there, but why buy when I can go out back and get them for free?
I'm slightly concerned that the backlash from supermarkets will be to contaminate the food in order to impede the freegan movement since it will be bad for business to not have as many people buying things, but instead finding them free around back.
We believe in this. It is good to salvage the excesses. We are part of a Gleaners group. We go and pick crops when the main harvests are over. And fruit from trees whose owners invite us to pick. We distribute this food to the group. We have many people who are elderly and ill that are adoptee families that we deliver the food to. Many farms and companies can recieve a tax credit when they donate to us. Even the local University has us come and pick their excess crops. It is fun and great people
way to go freegans! All the giant supermarkets in my town have these giant sealed dumpsters that are inaccessible from the outside. They say they donate their still-good stuff to charities at the end of the night.
