  • I cant wait to do basic training XD, wait , I dont know if its gonna be enjoyable :0

  • watching this series is weird just cause I have been there... kinda takes me back a bit... now enjoying life at regiment :D

  • The weightlifting classes aren't really there to make you fitter; they're there to introduce people to the weight room. Remember, lots of civilians who join almost never go to the gym or work out at all. This is all new to many people.

  • @csrtitus,

    Yes, Canada needs a military. As part of NATO, Canada has obligations to fulfill and that includes having a military and participating at the NATO geopolitical effort. Of course the grunt of the NATO effort is fulfilled by the USA.

  • @articsheep isolating specific muscles works best. Also, cardio after strength training saps strength.

  • @onthewingshot Actually, compound lifts have been shown to be much better in developing strength. All Professional Atheletes do not use gym equipment, they do Squats, Overhead Press, Deadlifts, and Bench

  • what is with the friggin music in this

  • @CrazyMunky84 agreed the editor is a moron.

  • OS Gordon is a cool dude

  • lol looks like fun, i go for BMQ soon

  • why the hell are they using these bullshit machines whose only purpose are for looks??

    they should be doing squats, chin ups, bench, deadlifts, powercleans and NO MACHINES

    machines only isolate specific muscle. to be fit, you need a lot of core work. dont work specific muscles. work compound exercises

  • 16 is to be reserve right 17 to be full but with parent permission 18 withought right

  • Canada needs a military?

  • eh twomells dont judge, everyone trys some are better then others at things, he could only be doin 70 then go and bench 210

  • have u ever seen a larger person in the army? like whats the biggest

  • my bud kevin is in the forces and hes about 6'3 250

  • lol, when i was in the reserves i saw a sargent that was about 6'1 and 250+ pounds. he was a big fella, good guy.

  • how long did it take you to get the call back after you went to the recriutment center excuse my spelling greatly appreaciated

  • @fezaz1 over a year, there's a recession on

  • @fezaz1 did you get a call back yet

  • @fezaz1 Its different for every person. It depends on the trade you want and if it is in demand. I applied for an in demand trade in December and my application was in Ottawa in April. I went to the recruiting office mid May because I wanted to put a third trade on my application and they told me that I was just waiting on my medical and interview. EO tech is what I am slated for. Fingers still crossed!

  • @fezaz1 It depends. I applied in January 2010. Got my job offer in May. And leaving for basic in November.

  • @pirson28 Hey man, I'm leaving in November too. The 15th, what about you?

  • wow he is only leg pressing like 70lbs

  • Building endurance?

  • Is there meaning in different color hats? Also the security cards how come lvl 1,,2,3

  • green - army

    black - navy

    blue - air force

  • you mean colour, not color, and they are not hats, they are berets. and yes they are colour coded so to speak.

  • its spelled differently in each country haha

  • Different coloured hats are for different military occupations.

    For example jump-qualified units wear a maroon beret, while armoured units wear black.

  • A black beret is Navy, or Armoured units;

    A blue beret is Air;

    A green beret is most Army units;

    A maroon beret is PPCLI;

    A scarlet beret is Military Police; and

    A tan beret is special forces units (eg. CSOR & JTF2).

  • for maroon beret is PPCLI, do you mean that 3PPCLI will have a maroon beret because they are jump qualified or do 1, 2 and 3 PPCLI all wear maroon berets??

  • @2007brennanm I'm not sure how it is with the PPCLI, but the in the RCR only the soldiers that are in a Para Company wear maroon berets. There are 3 companies in the 3rd Battallion and only the jump (M) company wears the maroon berets. Even if you are basic para qualified, but you are not part of a jump company, you do not wear the maroon beret. I'm pretty sure that's a forces wide standard.

  • I love the cheezy spy tracks!

  • Great show.

  • @dynamicDAVE519 also..ic that thier training methods have improved and nooo PO Robinson to "intimadate" recruits - I hear all he does (from 09 onward is Adim duties)
