I have never stopped loving this song ever since Elephant Mountain came out and have played constantly on my guitar since. I got to see JCY in Sacramento 1978 which was a highlight for me as The Youngbloods were my biggest influence.

Jesse Colin Young is one of the hippest guys who ever lived. This song was so perfect so many times in my life. There's a gentleness about it, a receptiveness to the Other, that's so rare and beautiful. The Bay Area alternative culture was wonderful, a wonderful time to be alive and young....Youngbloods indeed.
