  • Holy shit, all those bands/artists are awful! Grunge was unoriginal (few good bands), nu metal was shit. How about this? And many were '80s bands as well but '90s count for them: MR BUNGLE FAITH NO MORE NAKED CITY/JOHN ZORN MELVINS BEASTIE BOYS PRIMUS GROTUS ROLLINS BAND HELMET GODFLESH CARCASS BOCELLI NAPALM DEATH FISHBONE & Bunch of other bands from different genres that weren't overrated MTV shit. FNM had success, so did Primus, but their music didn't conform, or had mainstream appeal.

  • It's just a phase.

    You'll grow out of it.

  • patton is god

  • of 90´s? FNM is one of the best bands ever.

  • As a drummer, I'd love to jam with Billy one day, maybe it's just a phase and I'll grow out of it. Nah, that would've happened already if it was going to.

  • @Adv3r5ary2

    billy was the bassist

    mike was the drummer

    jam in hell fuck-stick

  • Christ. Billy is a fucking genius. One of those great bass players that inspire you to pick up the instrument. Without him Faith No More would not be who they were today.

  • FNM=CHILE

  • @funkyrock77 no

  • Filth perfomance!! No Patton is not god?! Just a filthy coke pig who loves his music

  • Is Mike Patton god?

    1. MGMT

    2. Tool

    3. Faith No More

    4. Beck

    5.Korn

(Not looking for hate comments, just my personal opinion)

  • @theshortguy411

MGMT is the best band ever? shut up!

  • I'll add Monster Magnet to that list.

  • totally agree. fnm, aic, soundgarden, nirvana and stone temple pilots made the 90s mind blowing for rock. but fnm have to be the most revolutionary, easily.

  • December 5/2010, it´s the last concert in the history of FNM !! At Santiago de Chile !!

Thanks FNM !!! the best band ever !!!

  • @jamiroquiet That won't be the last FNM show. I saw them in Hollywood in their 2nd to last US show. they will put out an album in 2011 or 2012 i bet and then tour the album for at least a year. FNM is too much fun, theres no reason to stop. Mike has had plenty of time to do his side projects, its time to return to godliness full time.

  • I clearly rembering creaming my pants after renting the vhs and seeing this. The fucking keyboards and guitar in particular excited me the most.

  • MIKE PATTON....AND STOP

  • top track from an awsome album

  • top track from an awsome album

  • ((O_O)) IiiiI feelelel aaa lottittle nerrrrvousss

  • saw angel dust tour when i was 14 yrs old with older brother, they came out in boxing outfits to the rocky themesong.....

  • FNM and AiC are, IMO, the best bands of the 90s.

  • @NoRulesInNam No argument here.

  • @NoRulesInNam

Definately the most original and best in their styles, definately in my top 5 for the 90s although there was a long list of them...

  • @Idey1994 Hey , what's your top 5?

  • @NoRulesInNam

hmmm not sure what order they're in but FNM, AIC, Kyuss, Annihilator and Pantera off the top of my head, all great bands that were at their peak in the 90's although some of them deserved more recognition IMO :)

  • @Idey1994 Ooh, great bands. Fabulous taste in music.

  • @NoRulesInNam

Thanks man. I loved 90's bands, it was such an awesome time for music, luckily we have FNM and other classic bands reuniting so all is not lost!

  • @NoRulesInNam straight up with the fuckin truth dude!

  • @NoRulesInNam u took the words right out of my mouth. I couldn't have said it better myself.

  • @NoRulesInNam Soundgarden, Perl Jam, Temple of the Dog, Foo Fighters

  • finally someone agrees :) aic is my fav then mad season then faith no more n clutch is fuckin great too all very underrated bands

  • WEll IMO you're fucking right!

  • @NoRulesInNam soundgarden too

  • @pattonPwr Yeah, no doubt.

  • I'd give just about anything to have been able to see them back around the time this album came out. This almost sounds like the album version. FNM FOREVER!

  • I'd give just about anything to have been able to see them back around the time this album came out.

  • vanilla ice?

  • The crowd has the 1000 yard stare because they're all zombies now after having their mind blown.

  • Angeldust and The Real Thing are incredible. Just about every song on those albums are awesome.

  • Why isn't MTV like that anymore....?????

    This is a CLASSIC!

  • wow I remember seeing this when it was a live broadcast on hangin' with MTV

  • Patton is synonymous with win.

  • Mike Bordin is an incredible drummer!!!!!

  • @kradomc

His tom angles are insane :D

  • @kradomc Yeah he is! Actually, they're all extremely talented!

  • @kradomc PUFFY

  • @kradomc

Couldn't agree more, a left hander, playing a right hand set up, still kicks ass of 99% of drummers out there...

  • @kradomc Rhythm section in general...fuck that, the WHOLE BAND in general. Wow.

  • They were such a great band.

  • @marqlove ARE such a great band!!

  • this song and performance epitomzes FNM in the 90s

    that crazy ass Mike

  • Pour shame all over us

    Harden into a crust

    - - - cement - - -

  • one of my favorite vocalists. Sounds like an opera singer one minute then a raging demon the next.

  • a classic

  • OMG that performance was sick!!!

  • billy's bass playing is fuckin awesome i thought he was going to kill his bass at around 3:09 without a doubt one of the best bass players in one of the best bands ever

  • Jim Martin, has always had his finger on the pulse of high fashion. His sense of style is impeccable. FNM is legend.

  • Aaaaah,.... that's better.

    Thanx FNM

  • My God. I listen to the absolute shit that passes today as rock music and have to wonder what went wrong.

This just crushes anything else out there. Timeless...

  • @sandbar60090 Probably been around longer than you. Learned not to play the "it's all junk now" game (my heart's in the Brit invasion) but for crushing pressure, this is one of my favorite songs. New metal bands could learn a *lot* from it. Angel Dust is an amazing album.

  • @CapsaicinHat I doubt you've been around longer than I have! I've seen them all, including Hendrix, Cream, Zeppelin, Yardbirds...you name it. The majority of what passes as rock, today, is mostly homogenized, cookie-cutter garbage.

I really liked the straight-ahead rock power of the early 90s grunge bands, but, to me,

FNM rocks harder, with a more refined structure.

  • @sandbar60090 I give! got me by a couple decades.

Most of grunge bored me. Some was atavistic Zep + Mountain. Yuck. For 90s, FNM w/ Patton (and his other bands), Helmet, and especially Melvins for brainbending crush.

  • @CapsaicinHat Well, some grunge bored me, also, but I did really like AIC. Layne Staley had a great singing voice, complete with true vibrato and tone. But, I will always put FNM above just about anything,

My real passion in music has always been punk/hardcore, especially bands like Raw Power from Italy. There were also some great bands of this era from Chicago, my home town, such such as Naked Raygun, Effigies, and let's not forget Steve Albini.

  • @sandbar60090 Thumb up for Naked Raygun mention! Hell yeah!

  • I wish I could be the age I am right now and live in the early 90's I would have a job, and I'd be able to see bands like this...oooh and Bungle too definitely!

  • @DeadPixel2009 lol man me too. but the economy sucked in 1992/1993 like it does today

  • This is the moment in time when they were blackballed from MTV. They were signed up to do Midlife Crisis and this was filmed LIVE. Because they breached their contract and did this song, MTV decided to no longer support them. Without the support of MTV in the early 90's, you were dead. Musical Suicide at it's best. They could have been one of the biggest bands from the 90's if not for this....oh well, I love them anyway!

  • @ArdyDubya

FNM is alive and kicking. MTV is dead.

  • @ArdyDubya thats why king for a day, although a great album, sold bad compared to angel dust and the real thing. they did get SOME airplay with album of the year though

  • fuckin crazy performance ;DDDDD waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh :DD 3:56

  • yes! saw them 2x during this era and i will always cherish the mammaries!

  • i remember watching this on mtv, and taping it on my vcr. this performance is insanity!!!!

  • lol the kid at 4:19

  • I remember this it was back inJuly of 1992 on that show called Hangin with MTV, I was 10 years old I couldnt wait to get home from Camp to watch them.

  • classic old school shit

  • Bianco is a great guitarist

  • Best Song Ever!

  • I remember exactly where I was when I first saw this on TV as a teenager. It permanently changed my life. What happened to Patton?

  • @CowboyShoes

    LOTS.

    LOTS HAPPENED.

    google him

  • @CowboyShoes dude, patton is still as active as ever! google him!

  • Unreal. Absolute classic.

  • I like pancakes

  • love it! reminds me of blowen achter een huusie

  • haha that fat chick tried to engulf mp when he dropped the mic

  • I can't get enough of thier live performances

  • A MASTERPIECE. THIS IS A MASTERPIECE, GUYS. A MAS-TER-PIECE!!!!!!

    ROCK ON

  • One of the best albums of all times for sure...!

  • Patton Baby, Great Commander Of The Stage

    Angel Dust - Their Pinnacle!

  • MOTO GUZZI SHIRT RULES!!!! ;)

  • fuk they sound good

  • when my life has a small small tiny tiny part of what they are doing in that song i will be happy and die......goodbye

  • SINCE WHEN IS FNM UNDERATED?

  • What show was this from???

  • @GrizzlTooth Hangin with MTV

  • These types of songs from Angel Dust are such a departure from The Real Thing. It speaks highly that this band was able to grow and improve so much.

  • @GrizzlTooth Angel Dust was alright but King For A Day Fool For A Lifetime was their best album.

  • @DriveByTrucker88

interesting take. I sort of got lost in all the mp3 shit back in the day and quit buying albums. I think it's time to build up the collection again. 1st buy, King for a Day!

  • @GrizzlTooth I think they purposly went out of thier way to sound different from The Real Thing Album because people were sayin that they were biting offf of the Red Hot Chili Peppers

  • @JadaBlaze01 whoever said they sound or sounded anything like the chili peppers must be deaf , dumb , and ignorent! nothing fnm did sounded "pepper esque". the only things they have in common are that they're both from L.a. and they both fkn kick ass .

  • @chriskiefer79 well Faith No More are not from L.A only Billy Gould and Roddy Bottum are originally from L.A all the others are from the Bay Area and thats where Faith No More was formed in the Bay Area not L.A and yes when The Real Thing came out a lot of people were comparing them to the Chili Peppers because of the Hard Core Bass Slapping that u heard in a lot of thier songs specially Epic

  • i love the mixture of glamour and macarbe that faith no more showcase just look at the front of angel dust and then look at the back lmfao

  • Yes is true! me too!

  • @steelundergrounder I can't because I pirated the album; what's on the back?

  • @TheSender A slaughter house!! lmao

  • classic!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dammit i miss martin

  • My heart jump into my throat everytime i listen to these guys, which is to say, it happens nearly every day!

It's an involuntary, bodily reaction. I fucking love it! Being moved.

  • Holy fuck this song and performance knocks my socks off! New favorite FNM live performance right here.

  • Something about this song gives me chills. It's just amazing.

  • "Caffeine" gives me some kind of adrenaline that I just can't get rid off when the song ends. It makes me want to break or hit something because the energy just gets stored in me . I would explain it as of stopping in the middle of sex. You just want more. It has to do with how the song ends.

One of the best songs, period.

  • why u bitch m f s always talking about funny things???

did u know that is not funny anymore???

    i just donwanna say anything...

    for u guys...R.I.P.

  • Shit I'm A sick B*strard ! ! ;) x

  • Billy is the shit

  • way ahead of their time, peeps are just now starting to talk about them in the last 3 to 4 years, this after 20+ years

  • Well that's because Faith will never die :)

  • Angel Dust = best album ever.

  • @NoRulesInNam agree

  • thank you!!!! agree

  • @NoRulesInNam

  • @NoRulesInNam correct statement

  • @NoRulesInNam AGREE 100X100
