you guys can rag on the mustang all you want. especially you flexfuel306. talking about a mustang going around corners. the mustang was built for it. you look through all the years of the mustang line, it dominated everything. other companies had make their cars better to keep up with it. talk crap about a mustang because of one bad run? take a closer look at the video, after the tires connected it still caught up to the sluggish mini. in the euro races mini was champ until the stang came n won.
@marriedncute dude youre so wrong its sickening. the 4.6l engine was probably the worst mustang engine, and the 5.0s only pushed out maybe 250hp. mustang has been slacking on their cars for the past twenty years (of course until the new 2011 stangs). i mean really, the 4.6l v8 GT only got 305hp out of their engine, camaro gets that out of their v6 and subaru gets that out of a turbo'd inline 4

And to clear up one thing: I don't dislike Mustangs. When the 2006 line came out that was my dream car simply cause of the looks of it. Then I found out there engine produces piss for hp. Then the 5.0s came out, I fell in love again. The exception I said in the first post was the 2011 Mustangs.

Horsepower/torque to weigh ratio is a big issue when going from a dead stop. I was just saying that the slower a wheel spins, the more it sqeals like a girl. I must admit I have a V8. 11MPG. =/ I would get a Mini if they were a bit faster. Options from the factory are crazy though. They're so customizable!

Don't get me wrong. Smaller engines have big potential when they're blown. It's just V8's have even bigger potential. A turboed V6 should suit anyone though. I must admit I have a V8. 11MPG. =/ I would get a Mini if they were a bit faster. Options from the factory are crazy though. They're so customizable!

Wow the common Corvette owner speaks his mind! The majority of people that buy Corvettes are the kind of low lifes like you that buy them to show off to their idiot friends, because you dont have the bank to buy a supercar. A mini cant compete with a corvette, and everyone knows that, but dont go comparing a Lambo to a chevy when they run VERY different rounds, regardless of the acceleration time.
