so anyways back on point.
Your words have no gone unheard and as a of 7/10/08 i have asked mike to get me the second printings of the Captain Britain. I'm going against my comment in the review and paying my 'hard earned' money for them on your insistence only. maybe on a closer read I'll begin to see and enjoy them as you do. let this be proof to the world that we do listen to your comments.
Lol i'm just jesting mate you dont have any hair problems. The second issue of Cap is sold out I hear and my local comic shop has had to order a load more in. It's a good thing for us UK fans as Excaliber keeps getting Clairmont writing it and then the book gets cancelled each time. Hope it stays at the high standard. Keep up the good work dude :)
I agree that Captain Britain & MI13 is a quality comic. The inker, Jesse Delperdang, has been in the shop recently. Maybe, if we're lucky, we can get an interview with this talented guy and get a little more insight into how making a comic works.
So the hate for Captain Britain has nothing to do with the fact he's a cooler character than Captain America then. It was a great first issue. Plus who needs a crappy shield when you can fly and lift 90 tons? Sour grapes shouldn't get in the way of a fair and impartial review. The dude with the receding hair talks a lot of sense. Embrace international characters you might find something you like.
On one hand, I'm glad that someone agrees with what I have to say. You shouldn't judge a new book before reading it.
On the other hand, I'm not happy to be referred to as "the dude with the receding hair line". My hair isn't receding!!! I just have a high forehead. :-)
