In MrSafety's defense he does go to gatherings and is a down to earth guy when you meet him but I know what you mean. Maybe my first movie can be about the early days of the You Tube community. If the movie industry didn't charge an arm & leg to take the family to the movies then I think people would be less likely to download their movies for free. But the music/movie industry isn't about art any more either - its about money.
@StylidiumLane Yeah,I have nothing personally against any of the "famous" people on here and am glad to see some of them do well. I just think the heartbeat of this site was the interaction of the original vloggers on here. The drama,intrigue and just the overall sense of community is what made this site the number one video site on the net. Just miss the old days and some of the old players on this site.
The people that came here looking for stardom are not the youtube community. The youtubers that remain approachable and interact with others, exchanging ideas and even drama is what makes the community.
Can you imagine what it would be like if public libraries had to jump through the same hoops concerning ownership of art?
it would be fun to see a real movie on youtube craze and how it started. I was late to the party here and i agree the net thing is getting worst but i won't go back to tv here. We have better control still on what we take in on the net. Love the old movies , I hope they don't kill it all . to me, music sharing in the 90s help CD sales as people started hearing the classic's and stuff they loves to hear more of and they were buying it . I do have an itunes account now by choice =)
Let me ask you this question. If Money didnt exist anymore, would anyone give a shit about things like copyright? The answer is NO! Most people DO NOT realize this. They want to hold onto their precious. That mistake is going to lead alot of people to unhappy endings. It already has sent many to their deaths. I find it funny as hell !! They dont realize that a time based program is being run. That filters out the scum. A baby with no money will pass the test automaticaly.
