I like the ride, it's a good time. The only thing that scares me is when you are standing in line and the coaster goes by, you can literally see the track sway a good half a foot maybe. Obviously, if it was not safe they would not be letting people ride it, i just always have that little fear in the back of my head anyway for some reason. Almost makes it more fun though. (-;

I worked for Riverside Park 5 years Then it was sold a few times and ended up as Six Flags New England. The Cyclone used a one time a Steel Frame cart and a Fiberglass body & molded Seats and was bumpy ride. I since heard they changed to wooden Boxed Cars like on they once used on the old "Thunderbolt Coaster", that was tore down to make room for new rides. The Thunderbolt cart were wood and was a Bumpy Ride and I think the ride would be as Bumpy & Rough if they use the same type of carts.

They modified this damn ride from its original version making the first dip less intense!!!! I remember going to this park when it was called "Riverside" in the late eighties, and they wouldn't allow me on, because I was 52 inches, and I needed to be 54. I was so pissed that I screamed in the lady's face (the one who held up her little stick). Because of that bitch, I never got to experience this ride the way it was intended to be. I went back in 2002, after they CHANGED it :( :( :( :( :(

Canobie can't compete with this at all. Canobie is nothing but a huge carnival. SFNE is an actual amusement park.

me and my friend went on tthis and for the first time i ever got whiplash on a coaster was this...BUT I HAD ONE HEEL OF A FUN RIDE!!!! sit in the middle and forward cus we sat 3rd from back and be yanked over that first hill pulled us up so hard that my thighs hurt the rest of the day but then we waited in line for bizzaro for 45 mins so it was all better after that.....I use coaster therapy to get me all better :)

I rode Cyclone three years ago, but I never rode Superman because I'm scared of height and it seems like 90 degree drop. Superman is higher than Cyclone too (that's why). It's interesting when you said this is 10x scarier.

This isnt the cyclone... Its reall name is the texas cyclone. it was built in texas for the six flags in houston texas. and its original name is the texas cyclone
heres a tip :). Press your feet hard on the bottom of the cart (unless it's floorless of course) it makes it much easier. thats how i conquered my fear of bizzaro :)
I went on this on June 30, 2009...it was fun...but very bumpy...and by the end I had a headache, the only other ride that gives you a headache is the mind eraser. Nice POV.
Going on this tomorrow. Rode Thunderbolt and Pandemonium today (my first coasters... EVER) and now I'm addicted. Have a season pass, so hoping I'll brave Bizaarro, Mind Eraser and Batman by the tiume school starts. Boulderdash at Compounce actually rates better in my opinion..
I will still ride the Cyclone..

this ride is rough but fun. the lap bar i had was kinda loose so every time the ride would go down in back up the drops i'd get the lap bar right in the gut. plus it kills your back

i actually kinda liked this roller coaster! i went on it and wasnt as scared as i was on superman. i almost pissed myself on superman bc im so scared of hieghts but this one was not as bad thank god. haha but when i go again in a couple of weeks im going on this again!!!! :)

THis is 10 x scarier then bizzaro. This piece of crap feels like its gonna fall apart any second. Everytime you go down a drop you fly out of your seat! I hate this and will never go on again!

I rode Cyclone three years ago, but I never rode Superman because I'm scared of height and it seems like 90 degree drop. Superman is higher than Cyclone too (that's why). It's interesting when you said this is 10x scarier.

heres a tip :). Press your feet hard on the bottom of the cart (unless it's floorless of course) it makes it much easier. thats how i conquered my fear of bizzaro :)

Going on this tomorrow. Rode Thunderbolt and Pandemonium today (my first coasters... EVER) and now I'm addicted. Have a season pass, so hoping I'll brave Bizaarro, Mind Eraser and Batman by the tiume school starts. I used to be deathly afraid of them, but after 1 trip on the Thunderbolt, I was irrevobaly hooked. :)
