  • natures food can be found at vet's or at petsmart or petco. Doggie treats have alot of bad in them, which I didnt know! I will never give him anything but chicken or hamburger treats again. hope your babie stops having seizures!

  • My babie just had his first seizure on Saturday. I have done alot of research in the past 5 days. Some get it cause of liver or kidney disease and others cause of the brain. there is also a possible allergy to food and treats. Ive switched my baby over to rice and chicken and chicken and hamburger treats. Tomorow he has a bile test on his liver. They think it's coming from his liver! I love him so and it's really scary. And by the way vets really need to lower there prices. try natures food.

  • that was a small one, but scarey none the less when your baby goes through them. You think they are dying! My chihuahua had several grand mal seizures and totally freaked me out. I was a emotional mess. took him to the vet and he has valley fever andddd tick fever. he is still on one med, no seizures since i took him in, but still not back to normal cuz of the meds i think. glad your baby is doing better.

  • its all that noise =/

  • my chuahua had one like this, she was fine after tho

  • Just wanted to say have a Chi staretd to do same thing last couple months ago, had MRI, spinal tap and brain dye.....advise is to turn ALL noise and bright lights down, keep your VOICE calm and quiet...and we wrap her in a large soft blanket and talk her calmy so she knows we are helping her out. Then relaxes quicker and comes round better. Not to keep noise and light levels high so as to distress them even more!!!! Got bit upset you were all soo loud!!

  • i don't think its good to put a small dog like that infront of a laptop and blasting music at it.... D: kinda..... seizuretastic....

  • lol Why would you treat a dog better than your husband? Your dog's not making any money unless he's an animal actor or trained as a professional thief.

  • Thank you for posting this. My chihuahua has these seizures too and I thought I'd search for chihuahua seizures on youtube to see if others are having the same problem.

  • If something good happens then believers always say its thanks to god But if bad things happen its always the humans fault in believers opinion. If your god truly excised Then he would send lightning down to take out the priests who abused choirboys Those priests work in the name of god so put dirt on his name by their behavior And god does nothing to protect those innocent kids We are responsible for our actions not gods We act they don't Where we learn we make mistakes Only god is perfect

  • And Medicines don't always work I tried various but non stopped my attacks The meds only made me feel sicker So now i don't use any medicine And feel 100x better So medicines are not always the solution Animals can't talk,Let me be its mouth So if you give meds and your animal still gets attacks STOP giving them meds You only fill the doctors pocket with cash by buying that trash And your animal will probably feel worse cos you give it So if no less attacks STOP as then its more wrong then good

  • Strange to see the attacks on animals I got Epilepsy as human And as far as i know we humans lose our conscious during the attack With the animal vids i see they all have eyes wide open And some even look at their boss asking for help if i read their eyes correct. So they seem half awake during the seizure. And record nice their boss If i'm in an attack i don't record nice anyone After the attack of 5-15 min i wake up but can stay sleepwalking up to 3 hours Then i wake up and don't rem a thing

  • And also to all the people saying shit on here you have to realize that some people are NOT prepared for these kinds of thinks so before you say don't scald him why don't you think that maybe she might have been scared and in panic..

  • My aunties one does the exact same thing same breed of dog to do you know what it is yet please inbox if u have any advice thanks :)

  • i was NOT scolding him in any way . if ya noticed i was tryen to turn off the flucking tunes . this is my baby boy . he is treated better then my husband by far . after he has one of these , he jumps up and runs off playen like nothing has happened to him at all.

  • when your dog is seizuring you have no loud music or lights on.. that is a huge no no..and you shouldnt be yelling at him... a soothing voice and a light touch helps... god some people do worse for the pets..

  • @kittysioda Looks like you have a straight line to your god. Were not all schitso So not all of us receive messages from gods whispering in our ears. And i bet your god wont like you judging on a person just cos that person was not prepared for such a thing to happen Its easy to judge from your save chair behind the putter. If you get in such a situation you have to improvise. Your god made us right So is responsible for how the human improvised. Thank your god for not giving human right tools

  • He was just groovin' to the music.

  • dont leave him alone get him to the vets asap,

  • @dkitch28 Where is a QUIT place? Is it like a place that you go to "quit" doing something that you should not be doing? Like the Betty Ford clinic?

This mutts problem is that he is having withdrawals from not getting his Taco Bell :)

Oh, that's what you meant by a QUIT place? Got it. Ich verstehe. Danke.

  • This is exactly what happens to my dog ( pom ) just the other day she had one in my lap and fell over on the couch.

  • It is good for people to post things like this. It helps people to tell when your dog is having a seizure and someimes what to do about it. Thank you, truckerwife.

  • @Wh40kFinatic ty that is 1 reason i videotaped him . we were in middle of cleaning w music on and he comes walken in bedroom and just dropped down on floor into it . so 1st reaction was to pick up and comfort him . then grab camera to tape it for vet to see .

  • thank you yes he is fine . the vet said he is allergic to something that is triggering them . but i feel diff on it .

  • o o

     o oh'em'ge is he ok
