Ben died on July 1, 2006 at the age of 55. He committed suicide.

His mother had died in 2oo3 and was very depressed, when the show focused on Jennifer Munson's death, afterward he killed himself.

Yeah, it's very sad that he did that. But that's life. Your parents die before you.....that doesn't mean you have to kill yourself. So was the fact that his mom died the reason he committed suicide. Would he rather have died BEFORE his mom? Doesn't make any sense.

That is just a heartless thing to write. Yes, he chose to die himself, but that doens't mean you can say things like that. He had his reasons. Just repect that. He was a great actor and he deserves ten times this award, AND TO REST IN PEACE.
