  • So if your flying waypoint nav mode, can you program the osd to fly the rest of the waypoints and NOT return home if you encounter loss of signal?

  • @iFlyFPV OSD is On Screen Display. It is only a display. All is flown by a separate autopilot, called FLEXIPILOT. The autopilot can be programmed to fly in total absence of RC signal or when jamming is present. Typically it is programmed so that it returns home anyway since there is are no business interest in flying in full auto beyond RC range.

  • look u cant even fly strait w/ that and u just use fpv from hobbywireless w/ rvosd and probaly just a lipo 4 what 30 min of flite? the military has way!!!!!!!!!! better stuff than this

this is only a case when autopilot is flown manually showing its output via well known OSD.

Mike you know nothing. The flight was in manual mode testing IMU resistance to uncoordinated turns up to 4G. In this specific flight the RVOSD was used as display method to make the movie. The autopilot was used for cosntructing Pteryx UAV for example, which is used or making very precise digital world models by the civilians. This actually surpasses capabilities of military drones using just video feed which are mosaicking it with limited success.

  • @magicmike1122 EasyUAV has flown more than year ago for 80min with lipo3S. 30min was with lipo 3S 2200mAh using very primitive motor. Try it in manual mode using EasyStar without thermals and you will see.
