anyway i won't pay a motif price for an acoustic guitar sound, ok and i won't pay for korg for the 2" wider in the screen, ok ?

@emokhtar The MOTIF has alot more built into it then the fantom. i'm a big fan of roland so don't get me wrong i love their stuff but for the best keyboard/synth/workstation its gotta be the MOTIF 8

Today is a lot better going for emulation (software) with a PC. Sound cards can do 192kHz @ 24-bit on all 8 channels (and 120dB SNR) for just $175. Plus, with Fatar + Sonar + Komplete5 + Ivory and Ivory Italian you have all you need, you can do all you can imagine, create new sounds, everything! And what is better, way CHEAPER than ANY Roland "solution" (keep in mind on quality and realistic sounds).

LOL, I hear that a lot, but is damn simple, just use HTPC case, so the whole computer is just a tiny and small box, yet a powerful thing.

yo i disagree...komplete, ivory etc are high processor users and even my quadcore can't keep up with 6 tracks of NI massive...hardware is way beter for reliability and many hardware sounds indeed better even @ 44.1, 16bit...its something about the hardware warmth that i cannot get in a vst.

ofcourse i didnt m ean roland sounds bad...roland sounds awesome, but if want more realistic sounds, you may want to get a gigasampler and maybe the korg radias for the fattest synths

yes its always good to have other synths because the filter and effects will always sound roland.
