this is an awesome phone ...and no it does not get hot , its fast and responsive great camera , 4 home screens and lotsa great options , i think it close to iphone if not better!! I recommend it anyday

that phone is the worst phone ever, crappy interface, bad reaction to simple commands.Extreme pain in the a... garantied for touch screen. The phone does action on own, like call people from your contacts, shut down, delete pictures...anyway

when i sent a text to someone at lets say 3pm, and they replay at lets say 3.05pm, my phone whould show the time 4 hours earlier, so it shows 11.05am!!! help any one!!!

@alexislay0008 wld rate as a 3. Run away. Have had nothing but problems, am on 3rd phone, worst problem is screen cracked because i might have twisted it in my hands doing 3 buttor reset. This phone is way 2 fragile, heats up way 2 much, laggs here n there, battery dies i a day. plus more. I hate this crap phone. Its cheap at the beginning but once it breaks u pay!

@Galanist10 No. The wifi is separate to your network provider. If you have WIFI at home you can just use that like you would a wifi compatible laptop.

I am waiting for my Acer Liquid E from Fido to arrive from UPS in less then 14hours as Fido is offering me this beautiful fone for FREE and all I have to just pay for my voice plan as they are giving my data 6gb data plan which is 30$ a month for FREE as well.I am ever so happy as I don't even think in wanting an iPhone but I have 30days to order an iPhone

can this phone handle multitasking very well because i have a htc dream and it really starts to slow down when i use multiple devices, facebook calling twitter music ect. not all at once but I have noticed that it ca not last a whole day while being used, does this phone have a good battery life compared to a htc dream(g1)

@butchar2006 The HTC Dream was released with an early version of Android software so the Acer Liquid E will have better results when multitasking. The battery life is good, comparable to most smart phone devices. We would recommend researching techniques on how to prolong battery life.

Just got the phone, works awsome! I havent came across any over heating issues which i keep hearing about, does get alittle warm but nothing serious. I do have a question if anyone can help, Whenever I make a phone call i have to hit the speaker button in order to hear anything, so if i were to dial a number and press send i cant hear the other person but they can hear me, any suggestions so i dont have to hit speaker everytime I make a call?

@reginarocketman dont get this phone i had it for 2 days and it broke the screen came off the phone and the camera button broke and it wouldnt start up the screen would go black and then i would try and start it and it would blink white and it would be fully charged
