  • and the ultimate oxymoron, a young Keith Richards

  • and at 1:30 probably the first jam phrase in rock and roll

  • good job !!!

  • @danNMx ... thanks !!!

  • In the middle sixties the nice kids liked the Beatles and the bad kids liked the Stones.

  • @RighteousWilly ... that's funny & I do remember that being said!

  • @RighteousWilly I've said it myself, serendipitously enough

  • @RighteousWilly i was a v e r y bad boy, and i loved the Beatles!

  • the Beatles and the Stones? Comparing apples (no pun intended) and oranges. Beatles were the greatest pop group; Stones still are the heart of rock.

  • The guy who engineered the original recording at Decca used to live & work in Palm Springs and told us how he built a seven-foot-tall spring reverb in '64 to get this sound. It's in one of the books about the Stones. Very nice remix here. If he were still around, he'd love it.

  • @naughtmoses ... I'm honored to use his great mix to show that (even from mixes) Classic Rock's power is increased even more with "Balanced Modern Rock Style" remixes.

  • A favorite of garage bands all over America during the sixties...personal fav of mine as well..!

  • these guys are cool and all, and theyve got some great tunes..but they will never EVER BE AS GREAT AS THE BEATLES, PERIOD..EVEN THEY KNOW THIS..

  • @jillzi7 ... did someone say "apples & oranges" ??!!!

  • @jillzi7 the beatles do bubble gum music, the Stones do real Rock & Roll!!!!

  • @prebooomer ........RE READ WHAT I SAID, EVEN THE STONES KNOW THAT THEY WERE ALWAYS BEHIND THE BEATLES, IN EVERY WAY...THE STONES WERE EVEN JEALOUS OF THE BEATLES, BECAUSE THE BEATLES HAD 4 LEAD SINGERS, AT THE LEAST 3, AND THE STONES TRULY ONLY HAD 1..DO THE STONES HAVE A WEEKLY MORNING PROGRAM DEDICATED TO THEM THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR LIKE 20/30 YEARS?..NOPE,,JUST STOP ALREADY..THE STONES ARE COOL, WITH SOME GOOD STUFF, BUT NEVER WILL THEY EVER COMPARE...DONT RAGE !

  • @jillzi7 talk about raging, you are screaming, I just stated the facts, which seem to be backed up by several others who have voiced the same similar opinions, no rage here, just enjoying some great rock and roll

  • @prebooomer thats funny, you are not stating fact, you even said yourself its an opinion, and that is the fact...Stones are behind the Beatles in every aspect..THAT is the fact and not just an opinion, --by a raging cry baby..its ok that you prefer the Stones..just like some people prefer rap, (God help us)..but it does not make them factually the best band of all time..I used to have Some Girls, still one of my favs of the Stones, but I recognize that Beatles just beat em

  • I haven't heard the Stones sound like this since I had a Corvair with an eight-track tape unit with a built-in reverb amplifier!

  • Go the guitars , has there ever been a better finish to a song , rock on . ..An old Aussie .

  • I loved to rock-and-roll the fast way to this song and use to lose my breath at the end of the song....haaaa

BUT IT'S ALL OVER NOW .....Hiyaaaaa

  • @laggie24 .. . Hi there - I hear ya & also feel the same way now !!!

  • This is okay, but this is my generation. The Stones are supposed to be gritty, not smooth.

  • To my ears, this is a bit too much of an unnecessary aural excitement. I prefer this and many other old songs in MONO because that is the real sensation of those years - especially if the record crackles.

Only that way can I remeber the atmosphere of the smoky and dusty discotheques of the time.

With all this reverberations and echoes, this sounds more like music on a railway station while waitnig for the last train.

  • I said in 64 this group are gonna go places, I wasn't wrong.

  • @boxey24 Yup; you hit it out of the ball park, buddy!

  • @guyNbluejeans

    Gee, thanks man.

  • this puts phil spector in the back seat sound like this is far and few between

  • @trev74444 ... it's a Balanced "Wall of Sound" and Phil's just an "unbalanced" loser!

  • Very nice. Thanks for sharing. Also great slideshow.

  • @slugsucker ... thanks for the comment

  • Why so much echo...it takes the RAWNESS of Mick's voice away.

Working in this business as long as I have , I notice people get a bit carried away with the effects sometimes..

Reduce the echo and try to bring it back to sounding as original as possible with stereo.

Sounds like the Vibrosonic systems we used to have in our cars in the 60's.

  • Wow - the sound is awesome. My favorite Stones song (except for Star "Star"!)

  • Thanks for this! One of my 2 favorite Stones songs, and it is superior sound quality to any other I've found online. Please do Monkey Man!

  • @butchward ... thanks - "Monkey Man" IS in the Channel !! ... go to my uploads & you'll find it there !!

  • Thanks so much for adding this song. I think the sound quality is superior as compared to the hundreds and thousands of videos on You Tube that sound terrible. It is a real pleasure to hear the oldies in a crisp, clear, balanced tone. Takes me back to the 60's.

  • really like the balanced sound & the scenes from "Performance" in the video and the amped up audio effects especially toward the end

  • terrific, thank you, yer dun good .

  • @ruandted ... thanks much - appreciate it!

  • Overdid the reverb in my opinion. Sounds like you are standing out side the building listing to them or you went to the bathroom while they were playing this song.

  • @SuperSlohan --I agree---no good. however, in the original 45, they couldve used a bit more reverb in his vocals.

  • @SuperSlohan yes, read my comment

  • Really enjoyed this! The sound is terrific, the best I've heard on You Tube. Thanks so much for posting it.

  • @cheshiremouse ... that's quite a compliment - thanks a lot!

  • Love it! Thanks for sharing : )

  • this is the best sounding version ive ever heard i love it

  • @christianalexlea ... thanks so much - it's great to get such positive comments - cheers!

  • This stands up so well after all these years. This mix is good. However, there is a true stereo version out there. I used to have a japanese album of Stones hits, and It's all over now was in true studio stereo on that record. Too bad ABKCO keeps holding back on the stereo masters.!!!!

  • amazing song..i love it

  • I love u tube

  • On 'Hot Rocks' is a normal stereo version available, but this version is very good.

  • SUPER SOUND!!!

  • @buggywhip1 ... Thanks a lot - those who like Classic Rock remixed in a modern balanced style really like it !!

  • @balancedstereo Just superb! It's been over 45 years since the Stones cut this. Have they, or anyone else, managed to duplicate that incredible guitar sound that opens and closes this record?

  • @andyinoregon ... it's very unique - always felt the song had a great Country type vibe inside of it's rock beat

  • This sounds great.

  • I really like your audio treatment of the classic tracks, the integrity of the original remains but so much fresher, thanks a lot.

  • @Breatherable .... thanks a lot - yours is the best description yet of my modern style balanced audio remixes of the classics

  • brilliant sound quality, one of my favourite songs,

  • @mornau ... Thank you so much - this is one of my favourite Stones songs - cheers to you in the UK from New Mexico - USA !!

  • brilliant sound quality,

  • @mornau ... thanks a lot - a little clarity was traded in for a lot of sonic power & drive

  • Ditto ZoZo !! x

  • Excellent...=) *****

  • @zozoann ... thanks my friend !!!
