What’s so great about this? Here come the Conquistadors picking on unarmed natives. Mexico eventually won its independence from this so called Great Spain, and then Mexican General Santa Anna came into Texas looking for a fight with Americans and he got a real fight. He got his ass kicked backed across the border and lost Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California to the United States. Spain’s a shithole, just like Mexico.

Powerful scene. It reminds me of Ben-Hur when he is dying of thirst and Christ offers him water. The characters in both scenes are witnessing one of the most important events in human history, but don't understand the magnitude of importance.

The Spaniards brought none of this but Catholicism and greed, and introduced slavery into South America that they eventually expanded into America, plunging our Republic into the Civil War against slavery in America. For the record, there no mayan, there aztec. Why? Well for one, the double pyramids in the background, praise to kukulkan, and the fact that the priest mentioned a disease (smallpox) that has made them not weak but strong. The disease was brought to the americas long before Cortez attacked the aztecs which is who we probably see arriving at the end of the movie.

The only reason why the Spanish defeated the Aztecs were because of the religion beliefs by the leader Moctezuma. The old ruler Quetzacolt was kicked out of leadership and said he would return to conqueor his lands again. When the spanish came, he though Cortez was Quetzacolt because they both looked alike. The spanish had the advantage, the aztecs defeated themselves. If they didnt blieve that, today would of been a different world.

I don't understand why so many people get offended by this. It happened 500-600 years ago. It's not a lie, it's a fact: the Spaniards came to America. For the record, there no mayan, there aztec. Why? Well for one, the double pyramids in the background, praise to kukulkan, and the fact that the priest mentioned a disease (smallpox) that has made them not weak but strong. The disease was brought to the americas long before Cortez attacked the aztecs which is who we probably see arriving at the end of the movie.

The only reason why the Spanish defeated the Aztecs were because of the religion beliefs by the leader Moctezuma. The old ruler Quetzacolt was kicked out of leadership and said he would return to conqueor his lands again. When the spanish came, he though Cortez was Quetzacolt because they both looked alike. The spanish had the advantage, the aztecs defeated themselves. If they didnt blieve that, today would of been a different world.
