  • nyc mazda

  • Hey Bro Do Yu Know What AWG Wire In V-Coil Used In Kickers 12" CVR 4 Ohm Subs?

If Yu Know Then Please Reply...

  • You need a new video with the new amp cuz your cvrs look underpowered in this video....also anybody with a budget system can make a water bottle fall off their rattling trunk....good thing you got a good decent amp this time

  • --*Help*-- I have 2 kicker cvrs on a zx.750 amp (birth-sheet says 941 RMS) I get a flapping noise at a low level. I had the system installed professionally! They dont hit at all like what people are saying. Whats wrong?

  • @Pugyxandrew box is tuned too high i have the same prob

  • weak ass amp man

  • xDCTheGreatx, i am also getting 2 12'' cvrs but i am getting a biggger and better amp for cheaper if i were u i would go for the 2 ohm so u dont have to wore them down, and if u get the 2 ohm it will hadle more power and the amp i got is a 09 hifonics 1600w

  • Poor car, Its gets ass raped, Litteraly!

  • I have 2 questions for you guys, please answer.

I'm buying dual 12" CVR's and I am going to wire them to 2 ohms with the zx750.1 kicker amp but should I get the dual 4Ohm CVRs version or the 2Ohm CVRs version?

And my other question is what gauge wireing should I use to hook all of this up?

    PLEASE answer.

  • If you want to wire it at a 1 ohm load, get the dual 4 ohms. If you want it at 4 ohms get the dual 2 ohm coils. Hope that helps :D

  • i would recomend 2 ohms. it is deeper bass

and i would go with 0... that amp gets hungry for more power

  • How is 2 ohms deeper bass? Impedance has nothing to do with how deep the bass will be.

  • if u r getting zx750.1, u shld get 2ohm cvrs, and 12 guage for the subs. 4 guage is the best wire for 750.1. 0 guage wont fit

  • get the dual 4 ohms, you can wire it to 1ohm, which means that you would get more power from your amp, dula 2, you will only be able to get it down to 2

  • thats impressive bass, NOT !!!!!

  • YOUR FACE IS IMPRESSIVE, NOT!!!!!

FUcking idiot, kickers win. NEVER lose.

  • @december12490 haha better than your shitty memphis mojo's LMFAO. dood they even sound gay :p

  • @JU5TBL4ZE mojos r tha shit kidd..get ya mind right

  • thats weak dude. i got 6 of them in my explorer and a cop made a U-turn on the highway and came and pulled me over cuz he said i was skin his car a mile away.

  • Don't be hatin on how many he has man.....dudes got a clean set up and hes puttin out plenty of bass haha

  • bitch ya right lmao

  • very clean love ur system! mazda's rule ! check mine out

  • Put Them In A Honda Not A Hundai And They'll Sound Alot Better lol!

  • Its a Mazda -.-

  • ok i need this answered quick but i bought two kicker cvr12s today i wired them down to 2 ohms like the instruction manual told me and then i installed them into a ported box. I have a 2 channel amp that is 2 ohms stable but is there a certain way i need to wire from the terminals to the amp or do i just set each one for there own channel?

  • hey uhm i have a question for everybody how do u get to 2 ohms? im thinking of getting 2 kicker comp cvr 1800 watts max and 800 rms..and i m getting this amp but the amp is for 500 rms for 4 ohms and 900rms for 2 homs, so uhm how do u get 2 ohms

  • buy two cvr with dual 2 ohm voice coil

  • Depends, do you want to see 2 ohms per channel or 2 ohms in a single monoblock setup? What kind of amp do you have that you want 2 ohms? If it's a dual channel, you want the 4 ohm CVR and run the coils in parallel for an impedance of 2 ohms per channel. If you're looking for 2 ohms overall in a mono amp. Buy the 2 ohm CVR and do the coils in series making them 4 ohms. Then run both the speakers in parallel to cut it down to two ohms. Good luck :)

  • thats lookin fresher than a muthafucka

  • The amplifier in this video is dead, now im running the Alpine MRP-1000D, 1000Wrms @2ohm

  • only helps to an extent

  • Dynamat they sell in most stores is just the sticky stuff thats silver.......if u buy comp level dynamat that stuff could hold off an earthquake from rattling stuff haha

  • oh tru good to know

  • most under rated sub for 800 rms

  • i saw these at circuit city today, and the sales guy tested it so loud that the windows around the sub room shook and people were looking in to see what was going on......also there were some pioneer subs and mtx jackhammers and we tested them all. kicker owned both

  • yeah...thats why they are underrated!! lol....pple think my friend has 4 subs in his trunk when he just has these 2

  • i think it depends on how much power you feed them and if there in the right box.

  • absolutely right!...sealed boxes suck ass...vented ones are the best for low bass

  • to be honest i've been using sealed boxes for along time now and always liked there sound. But i wanted to build one for my cvr12.

  • really!? wow i am surprised...well since i like rap music and southern rock, vented boxes give a lower bass since air is able to escape from the box...hey i need an answer if u know this...i am thinking of putting in 3 12" fi BTLs in my lexus, and i upgraded the big 3, now i need a good inexpensive amp...is CRUNCH Audio good?...please let me know =)

  • i wouldn't recommend them because there power ratings don't seem what they are plus those BTL's take 2000 rms (not peak) so you would atleast need a 4000 - 5000 watt amp for those subs. a crunch amp would be okay i guess if you run one on each sub. but i don't recommend them. try hifonics amps.

  • yea i was gonna get 3 for each....well the same company that makes hifonics makes crunch....but everyone says hifonics sux...they say sundown audio is the best, but its way to expensive

  • yea thats fine just make sure those amps are putting out atleast 2000 watts to them. if your on a budget then go for it

  • aite cool...but do u know the max power on btls? cuz it doesnt say....wow my system will be a beast, and later when i have a shitload of cash, i might do the solo x's by kicker...dammnn lol

  • yeah i think there 2000 rms and 4000 peak. i think it also depends on how you want them, like fully loaded with the daily options and such.

  • yea im just getting the dual 1 ohm for all 3, and 3 crunch audio 2500 watts to make those btls bang...cant wait =)...but the kicker compvrs bag fukin hard for 800 rms

  • Yeah thats good couse you can wire them to a 2ohm load and bang hard! those kickers are good all around subs to use. i used to own three at one time.

  • how much did you spend on the setup?

  • if you look on ebay, they sell two of these same subs for like, 120 or so, without shipping, boxes are a bitch though, and amps, i got a free 600 watt pyramid gold syries amp

  • GO MAZDA!!!!!

  • i hate puttin subs in the trunk cause all people hear is rattle rattle rattle

  • if your car is sound sealed then you shouldnt hear rattle from the inside. if you cant he4ar it from the inside but you can the outside that doesnt matter

  • get dynamat

  • i agree, all that rattling sounds like shit.

  • just played my system last night, first 5 mins out the shop my rearview falls off its hinge, every bass note i had to adjust it again, but after a good 10 mins my battery was drained and my alternator wasnt workin either, bout to order a high current 160amp one to replace my stock 95amp alt. hopefully that solves my problem as i have a HC 600 battery and 25 Farad hybrid super cap in the trunk already

  • clean install

but that box is garbage for those subs

not following the right specs for them

  • what are the right specs?...sealed box? cuz the kicker box is vented

  • i got 96 Monte Carlo with 2 Kicker CVR's powered by a Power Acoustik OV2-2200 2 channel amp with a PA OV4-840 for my speakers, havnt installed them yet but after seeing this video im sure ill be getting pulled over numerous times, but then again im putting a enitre dynamat car kit in it too, so hopefully it keeps the bass in when I have the windows up

  • yo. nice set up man. do u have to replace ur alternators and batteries to power up those subs?

  • Dude, u live in quebec eh?

  • whats the name of the song playing?

  • king kong by jibb feat chamillionaire

  • thanks bro

  • thats my next box lol

  • nice box!

  • lol my mtx 2 12 road thunder moves wayy more than that.. and i only use around 40% of gain on amp

  • Where can I get a sub box like that.

  • bassworx is vancouver only

  • i live in ontairon and i have a 12 inch bassworx box u fucking tool look that shit up on the net u can get tham at any dealer best place to try is futershop or bestbuy tho

  • whoops I mean canaada its in every canadian store but not in many american bestbuys

  • there's a bassworx in Trois-Riviere, Quebec

  • weak sauce son!! that bottle of water shouldnt be on there that long. are you not getting them the power they need?

  • clean setup, and nice box!
