I'm a 22 year old African American who got a letter in the mail from the University of Mississippi. After some research, I was floored to find out that the nickname "Ole Miss" is actually what slaves used to call the wife of a plantation owner. I was extremely offended by this and I do wonder why it is still used. Long story short, I will not be attending a university that welcomes Klan meetings and still embraces a nickname with ties to slavery.

Wheres Ole Miss in the academic rankings? Please do tell me. MSU is ranked one of the best schools in the nation for engineering majors. One of the most affordable while still offering a excellent education. MSU has placed 2nd in the nation for the Eco-Car for 3 consecutive years. Oh and if you want to major in Architecture you HAVE to go to MSU.
Id much rather go to MSU than Ole Miss. Oh wait I do. Gave up a scholarship from Ole Miss to go to MSU.. Bulldog for life.

yeah . . . most everyone seems to have a better library to do this in. however, we did pretty awesome for what we had. I would recommend it. Was a great way to break of finals and one of the best college experiences I have had.
We just proved we have still never lost a party..even without booze! This is pretty much my favorite youtube video I have ever seen...best experience this semester as well. Would say the whole year, but I went to the Cotton Bowl and Gainsville to watch the Rebs kick ass in football.
seriously . . . that was awesome but the library definitely kept us from having the best rave on you tube. J.D. Williams is a pos compared to all the other college libraries on here.
We (the rave goers) should of made it span all 3 floors. If they had called me to deejay also, I would have done it for the 2nd floor, much better and higher ceiling of course!!
