i had a brindle pit for almost 15 years. i got her when she was a couple weeks old in november of '96 and she died 9/23/11. she died in my arms it was so sad. she was like my sister/ and best friend. i loved her so much. R.I.P. candice november '96 - 9/23/11 u will never be replaced.

i went to a humane society looking for a pit bull and not realizing how easy it would be to find them.99% of the kennels had them.i found this gorgeous white pitty named ruby.her last owner cropped her ears so she'd look aggressive but she's the biggest cuddle bug ever!i hope sometime i'll be able to make her mine.the people taking care of her are mean by yanking her around and it kills me to see any dog abused.

Your puppy looks EXACTLY like my Mia when she was a little baby. She's almost 13 now, and it makes me really sad to know that she won't be here much longer. I just got my baby Pit yesterday from the animal shelter, he's about the same age as this one and he's a Brindle too... except the only white is on his paws, belly and the tip of his tail. I think he's going to be a great family dog and I have a huge yard for him to run in, over two acres.

I adopted a pit from a shelter down where I go to college and he is one of the best dogs I have ever owned! He was a stray and probably about a year or so old. Pit bulls are TRAINED to be vicious, they are actually very mild-mannered. I recommend them to anyone looking for a medium-sized dog with very little inheritant health issues, an impressive learning curve, and a short coat. Just go walk one a few times at your local shelter as they are a common breed to be found there. You'll want one.

pit bulls have just been demonized, if they are properly trained, loved and given plenty of exercise and are not mistreated then they won't attack, as for them attacking and killing small children.

well what where these toddlers doing alone with a dog, some dogs no matter the breed have some food aggression and if the kid went to take the toy or the bone away the dog may bite, or the kid is rough and the dog has enough, sometimes dogs don't know their own strength.
