I am absolutely in love with your room,its amazing!!! Aside from just looking like a glimpse of the past it is also elegant and dignified and very happy and cheerful looking,its beautiful. You should consider becoming a designer room remodeling gal,you have a good eye for unique things from the past and know how to make them practical and still make them functional for today. :)

Looks great. And your Great grannies purse...TO DIE FOR!!! I have been looking for a vintage tooled leather bag. I passed one up in Tucson and it's haunted me ever since. ARRRGHH. I'm sure you know that feeling..when you pass something up and then go back but it's gone. You'd think I would know better after decades of antiquing. lol

I just love your style...I think way back I told ou I have a gorgeous antique vanity! Question I have for you is this..the mirrors on the vanity have taken on that "old" look, like there are posts within the glass due to age, would you have them replaced???? I sort of like the beauty of the piece the way it is, but I really cannot see myself properly. Just needing your opinion.

@MoiraS63 I would have a hard time replacing the original glass personally but if its hard to use that is a different thing...can you add a cosmetic mirror? Or maybee even an antique mirror and set it on a plate stand? Id love to see a photo :) Let me know what you do xxo, B

@Lacquerandlace Yes, lot of wood finishes are just precious and they look best when they stay as close to original. I myself only will paint it if it already has been painted a color, just because I am to lazy to strip it all down. I am glad you are patient and restore the old wood.

So pretty! Love it all. I recently had to give up my girl cave and move it all into my bedroom. Had to make room for the Grandson's, they moved in last month, so now my girl cave has turned into a boy room. I guess that shows we will do anything for the kiddo's! Love your room!
