Wow You must hate The Colony. You only showed the old bad parts and none of the cool stuff. Some of the buildings you show arn't even vacant today. How far back did you have to dig to find those old pictures. Good thing you shot yourself, such a sad little video...
yeah i know and Shop The Colony First is not a popular slogan they just put that on those signs on street poles no one actully looks at. AND WHO ACTULLY CARES FOR GOODY GOODY find one yourself when your there
OMG! Is this for real? I thought it was a satire. The music, the lisping announcer, the bleak shots of empty storefronts - this is a promotional film? Oh well, they really don't have much work with...just a redneck town with a bunch of liquor stores.
Damn, is this the best the Colony has to offer? I remember The Colony when it was just a little shittin place back in the late 1970's when my buddy and his family lived there. Looking at it now it seems like there is no planning to the place just suburban sprawl. You can't tell where Frisco, Plano or The Colony start and stop it just kind melds into one but that is the way Texas looks nowadays especially the greater North DFW area.

Who the hell built the Collonade Plaza anyway? I just feel sorry for them. At least a few of the places you showed are starting to see development. Ross is opened up, and Staples will be open soon. What we need is a Crystal's Pizza!!! Woooo!!! I'm drunk!!!!

The Colony wasn't bad in the late 70's early 80's but then it got overdeveloped and overpopulated just like every other bland city in the DFW area.

Where are they building a Staples? Over by Home depot??
Fabipunkinola 3 years ago
They built one in part of what was the old Albertson's store on the NE corner of 121 & Main. It opened in November 2007.

I have to take Main st to North colony everyday and I've never noticed. I just thought it was a Ross.
I miss alberstons though :(
Our Kroger sucks and Walmart is crowded.
