I hv no idea why in the movie HK people deem Cantonese is superior; as it said in the movie it is loud and rude and i kinda agree with it. I dont know how u guys feel but find Mandarin way more euphonic.

People don't know how hard it is and how every time that you move, your life starts over, this movie is about a love story as much as it is about starting over. And the film directory really understood the life of a chinese immigrant.

I didn't think one of the best Chinese movies would be a HK movie. Usually TVB stuff is so frivolous and stupid (ppl flying, etc.). But this movie is a masterpiece.
