@gnomeofwar First shots were taken on a mountain trial called GR10, between Hendaye and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. The picture with the lake is taken about 100 km's more east on a trip the next year, same trial, can't tell you the exact location without having to dig into some books. It's more the middle of the Pyrenees, that's for sure.
@clcs13 This is a solo album. Brant Bjork used to be the drummer of Kyuss. He made this album entirely on his own. Look for "Jalamanta retrospective" on youtube for more info.

BB's wide talent, history within the genre, slow-burn, deep groove delivery where you can smell the influences of 70's hard rock blended with a sharp stab to whatever is left of true rock and roll nowadays. Being from that gen and able to compare, I value the existence of the very few artist that keep that sound alive. BB nails it.
