  • @PunkRockNoise You got but iLife 11 full DVD from Apple website.

  • Can you buy extra themes for iDVD?

  • can u hav different transitions themes between the video chapters and instead of either choosing to play videos or photos can u play them together. like have photos n music between the video scenes?

  • can u uplad videos to youtube

  • Hi,

I find it very good made, fast to the point. Thanks

    Marcel

    Belgium

  • hey how i can get the program ???

  • hi, this is a fantastic tutorial of iDVD. I'm spanish, and a apologize for my bad english. I wanna do a question about this tutorial. How do you do the effect to do zoom? I now the basic zoom of mac (ctrl + two finger in te touch pad), but you use other kind of zoom, for example, the focusing on black zoom, and so on. Can you explain how do you do? thanks

  • Great guide... I wish I bought a Macbook :( Cool program btw!

  • thank you

  • Really good tutorial. One of the best. It's nicee 5 stars

  • i haver a macbook nd when i use idvd and add a movie it said that its too lo9ng and has errs

  • (You can't do this on Windows)

    xD

  • I am new to IDVD and imovie. Thank youf for your demonstration on how to use the program.

I have some questions: after I edit the video and can I save it on to a DVD, can I play it on a DVD player or PC as regular movie? What would file ext. be? Thank you.

  • i have video's from my digital camera but i can't put them on iDVD. i don't know why. please help someone.

  • Awesome man thanks!!!

  • um how do you change the encoder setting i made my dvd but it says i cant burn my dvd unless i change teh encoder settings

  • how do you do that that you can film yourself? do you just use imovie?

  • he uses screen flow to record himself and his screen simultaniusly. it ranges from about £60-100$, its a good software, and its good for editing aswell.

  • THANK YOU! I have read the 35 page instruction manual Apple provides, but I needed to see things being explained in exactly the way you do. I have been able to create my DVD as you talked through the steps... once again, thank you!

  • Your audio is unstable in this video

  • thats great thanks for the tutorial

  • can you play more than one song on the IDVD slide show

  • Does anybody know how I can get it on window?

  • If your talking about Windows, you can't. This and the other applications in ilife is only for mac.

  • mac only.

  • There is nothing to learn here morons... u drag f.... videos and sounds, chose a theme and thats it. The problems start when you need to burn it into a DVD. Choppy, ghostly and pixelated images that seemed to be perfect on Imovie. Thats it: IDVD is a f.... hip off to fool consumers.... Just go to forums and you will see. The good stuff apple keeps for their Pro softwares. IDVs ass!!!

  • Great tutorial, my only advice is that you do your slideshows in imovie first because of greater use of the transitions and effects. It seems as though the slideshow in the updated idvd is a bit limited in transition options.

  • When I try to burn my dvd, the audio does not come up on the dvd.. yet it is present when i preview the dvd for burning. Anyone else have this problem? if so reply back.

  • I trying to make a dvd with 13 videos and iDVD doesn't have any themes with that many drop zones...any ideas?

  • can mac run on build comp?

  • Does anybody know how to make the theme affect the actual slide show so its not just the plain transitions but more like animations in between slides. I saw someone else do it with the older idvd and the slides moved around ,had backgrounds and graphics that moved

  • IDVD is completely rip off. If you thinking of having a mac because of imovie and Idvd features forget it. I had 8 out of 10 dvds waisted because of flickering images output from it.. some of them come without sound, sometimes they messed the videos chapters and so on... but the worst is the choppy and ghost images... just find out that many people had the same issues with it!!! Im starting to hate macs because of their lack of honestly with their costumers recently.

  • you expressed your opinion now its my turn. /your problem is that you don't know how to use it properly. Thats the plain truth. you say that Macs aren't honest. Macs are computers. You should say Apple. Apple is honest about their stuff.

  • Sorry, but IDVD is a bad ass DVD authoring!NIce templates and fetures and so on. But you wont get you expected. You must have been paid to do this propaganda of it. I am not the only one, just go to forums and you will see how many people have the same. DVD Pro though is excelent professional one. But I feel sorry for consumers. You idiot dont tell that I dont know how to use it, that is exactly what it should be: a software for consumers not geeks!

  • Okay if you don't like it that your problem. I love it That's it

  • What you showing here is the application being run on your computer. Its a completely different thing if you output a DVD from it. Just try it out and you will see what Im saying. You'll be probably disappointed with it. Again, its lovely to used it. I loved also. But I cant afford to have poor quality image, Jagged diagonal lines, color loss, some dancing pixels and so on.

  • I have put it on a DVD it works perfectly. I could not ask for something better

  • Sorry but my experience is the complete opposite, imovie works great, idvd works great I've had no issues or problems. Maybe you should make sure your OS is updated and if that doesn't work then schedule time at a genius bar so they can help. If you still have problems then sell your mac because you are not worthy.

  • great demo...THX...Love your channel!

  • thanks

  • is this the same as imovie

  • great show

i have question if i have wedding movie have 5 section and i want them to start with out stop can u show me how?

  • How are you filming yourself with what program to keep it like in the screen, looks great that way! Is that a new feature of Leopard?

  • I use a program called ScreenFlow.

  • you should try

final cut express or pro for video editing its great!

  • Yea I use them (i study film and graphics design), they're both great programs but if you want to get it, it won't come cheap. They are worth it though.
