I've gotta 1994 Cherokee, straight 6 beast, it's a tank. I'd like to ask Jeep why they stopped making the Cherokee, because it was a terrible mistake. When I become rich and famous I'm gonna buy Chrysler and force them to start making the Cherokee again. The 2001 limited edition is the sharpest looking Cherokee btw.

i'm glad to say i still have the inline 6 on my 1996 jeep grand cherokee. it sees 4,000 rpm's everytime i drive it, has over 200,000 miles on it and is still running strong. oh and did i mention it can run practically on bear shit.

@TheXjaddict You do Realize a JK is the body code for the new Wrangler right? Itd only spin the front tires like that if it was in 4HI or 4LO. Other wise when it is in 2WD its a rear wheel drive vehicle like all other jeeps except for the patriot and compass. I would jump mine as long as I knew I wouldnt damage it to badly to the extent of bending an axle tube or like lca mounts

@TheXjaddict I hope you're kidding. The Dana 30 axle is sourced from Dana Holding ... it is not an in house chrysler axle. The ONLY chrysler axle in use on a Jeep vehicle is the Chrysler 8.25'' which was found in some XJ Cherokees and MOST (except for some early production) Liberties. Newer independent suspension units (such as the WK and WK2) are Zif units. The JK is not front wheel drive.

Yeah I'm proud to have one of the last AMC Jeep Models. AMC made some damn good cars and SUVs. The MPGs are horrible lol I get like 15 city at the most... This girl I know that has a 95 XJ said she's getting like 12 city, her's has plenty more miles than mine does though lol

What a lot of people dont relise is the ZJ Grand Cherokee is an AMC model as well, designed by them right when chyrsler bought them. However a lot of people keep saying oh the ZJ Grand cherokee sucks blah blah.. IMO the only real Jeeps are XJ and ZJ's along with the wranglers. I have a 98 4.0 ZJ with nearing 200k, and a 98 5.9 with almost 130k

The biggest mistake Chrysler ever made was to stop making the Cherokee and use the LIBERTY as its successor. The liberty by far, sucks ass. Cherokees are built like tanks. Thats why they're used in Jeepspeed. But yeah, my '92 has 107,000 on it and still runs like new. The only thing that's ever broken on it was the front disc brakes. So it's been nothing short of an amazing truck. I want to put a Flowmaster Super 44 on it at somepoint, hopefully it sounds just as good!
