Could you tell more about the I2C board? How do one make such a thing? If one wanted to have an NXT motor multiplexer with degrees reading of each motor, is buying an NXT brick cheaper than building this board themself? And in the first video you had 6 motors and 6 touch sensors, but I only see one cord connected to your brick. Could you explain this motor/sensor multiplexer?
I too would like to know more about the motor multiplexer. I have the same questions as Bah but I would like to ask, using the NXt brick can I independently control control these motors or are serially controlled. I am 19 years old and I purchased my NXT kit last year. Whats a good way for someone with no programing experience (in NXT either) to begin making complex designs? Any books you recommend?

Any of the sensor ports can be configured as I2C ports. Only sensor port 4 can be configures as a RS485 using NXC.
