If you have ever played any of the Halo games before, you'd know that the flood is a zombie/parasite/virus/monster thing that infects sentient lifeforms until all inteligent lifeforms in the galaxy are gone, which is why thousands of years ago, the "Forrunners" built the halo rings to wipe out any thinking life form in the galaxy to starve the flood out. The "Covennant" are a union of aliens who worship the "forrunners" and want to light the halo's 'cause they think it will giv them immortality.

Totaly agree if beter games came out on the PC (halo 3 and halo wars included) I think PC could make a comeback if two players one on PC and the other on X box the PC player might have an advantage over the X box's complicated control sceme think about it rubber banding (PC) is beter than paint brush (X box) cos you can think twice insted of having to slect and unslect till you get what you want

Halo Wars is 20 years before halo 1 so dont think that you will see master chief but in the " Full game" you will be able to call a lot of Spartan(like Master Chief)this game will be out in Spring 2009.

1. Youtube reduces the quality of the video by 20%, so you cant really see the graphics as they are.

2. Its an RTS game, think about it, with 100 soldiers runing around throwing greanades and blowing up covernant at the same time, an RTS with crysis graphics would take a 1000$ freaking computer.

3. Graphics dont make a good game, dumbass.

4. This game has the best graphics for an RTS game right now.

release date 1/10/08, dont get excited though i was at 1st but after watching the actual gameplay over and over i seen alot of faults such as no morale which adds to units depth and a biggy for me which is the unit scale, why cant ensemble just scale the units to the correct scale. Lastly, more imagination with the new vehicles.
