How do you get to use this alongside 96KHz, as we're told we can?
I realise it becomes limited to 2-channel, but I can't find where to make the necessary adjustment(s) and find myself stuck with the resulting mis-matched sample rate noise :-(
i have sonar 8 producer, and whenever i try to edit my sounds (4:00), as soon as i press play on the project, all the settings go back to normal. what am i doing wong?
@wilky1189 There may be a midi controller event that sets the patch back to the default/specific settings. To delete it in Sonar, select the midi sequence you're working with, then go to View > Event List. Right click on the events and deselect Notes so you can only see the controller events (highlighted in red). If you see anything related to patch changes or the like, delete them. You can add more by going to Insert > Controllers.
@plasmaforce11 Bit of a late reply, but Sonar's Step Sequencer allows any number of beats (for strange time signatures), any number of steps (for complex drum sounds), plus swing controls, and since it controls midi via pitch, it can also be used for other soft synths.

Hi .. im trying to record into sonar LE using a cakewalk A-300 pro midi controller and TTS-1.... i have a problem i cant fix and its driving me mad.....
When i play the keys there is a delay before the sound plays... i cant play like this and im worried... could you help please.
Can this be compared with a real Sound Canvas module? I currently own the Sound Canvas 88 PRO, will I find the same soundset in TTS-1 ? Can't find any infos in the internet...
@rusradioru Does not work, as in does not open or does not display information?Contact Cakewalk's Tech Support at 1 800 Cakewalk for more information.
If your using your computer's soundcard try going to your soundcard's mixer or double click bottom screen speaker icon and make sure Line In is unchecked.
I have Sonar 7 PE and whenever I am using the TTS-1 (I use primarily the Standard Kit setting) there is a crackling sound that almost sounds like clipping. Any ideas of why this would be happening? I have tried turning downt he volume and what not but nothing seems to work.
Is there any way to use the TTS-1 to just manually type in guitar notes on the piano roll and play it back? I don't own a fancy keyboard. Just a pc with a mouse.
are you one of those people who has had help learning a software and now goes around pretending to be smart? I've noticed people who have a hobby, whether it be music software, graphic art software, etc... they either take a class, have friends who are into the same hobby who they learn from, then they act like they were born experts in it
yep ive tried that. it is set all the way on fast and still get latancy but only with the synths not when recording audio. when i move the buffer i get the same latancy on both audio and synth
Ok, you should try contacting tech support, I work in Marketing and my knowledge level only goes so deep. This sounds like a simple configuration setting to me. Support is free.

Is the TTS-1 like an updated version of Edirol (by Roland) Hyper Canvas? They look alike, plus they have the same patches.

I've tried to create more than one drum beat with the Step Sequencer, within the same song and cannot do it. Has anyone else tried this? Thanks

Make sure your Line In on your computer's soundcard mixer is unchecked if your having latency problems.

Thanks for this information. I have an error message come up when I click help.."cannot find the help information". Any idea where I might find that?
It would also be helpful to me to be able to control some of the edit functions from my keyboard controller, is their midi implementation in the help?
Thanks

Have you adjusted your latency in Settings | Audio Options? If not, go there and move the latency slider towards "Fast" Let me know if that helps.
