  • I went to Italy on a school trip with my school abd went to Pompeii and Vesuvius, I had learned everything before I went on the plane from Ireland to Italy

  • Idk about u people but I would shit my tunic if I saw a "mountain" bursting out smoke!

  • "The beams are solid, don't fuss!"

*Two seconds later beams break and disolve* Love how the slaves are the only ones with common sense.

  • its sad and horrifying. :(

  • History teacher said about Pompeii that was forgotten in History until the discovery of Pompeii.

  • Even though i watched this already, I need the whole entire movie

  • Our geog teacher asked us to watch this... Sad but now I know more

  • Cloud8746 me too

  • Omg I watched this in history the other day and now I'm too afraid to go to Pompeii cause it could go off at any time

  • 3:14!!!! CARSON!!!

  • @MelchiGabor1 LOL the butler of Pompeii

  • scary,but its so sad

  • hell this is sad. volcano eruption destroyed the whole city :(

  • watched this shit in school

  • JUST HORRID!

  • So incredibly sad...I wish people didn't live at the foot of Vesuvius.

  • I watched this in humanities!

  • So sad when he finds Hedone's body :'((

  • fake.

  • @DarkRainJFL LOLOL it was a real event but of course the video is fake it's a Reconstruction :L aha

  • @DarkRainJFL It did say they 'reconstructed the horror of what killed them' idiot

  • @DarkRainJFL ...OH MY GOD!!!! This happened almost 2000 years ago... Really, how do people like you breath... Sitting on your faces all day???

  • i watched this in class a couple of days ago and found out from my teacher that even the child slaves had to sleep with their masters

  • I first knew about the story of Pompeii in 4th grade. I even did a mockup story of a similar to these events for a project that same year. I'm 19 now (I'll be 20 this year), and I'm still fascinated with the story of the city's collapse. And to this day, Pompeii is at the top of my list for places I want to see.

  • @NAZILOVECAMP69 shut up i like black ppl u idiot

  • @NAZILOVECAMP69 Rome was so great they just had to walk down the Nile for some at this time.

  • the next one is in 2074 +-

  • Why did God do such a cruel thing?

Because that is his punishment for the Roman Empire for killing Jesus

  • @CombatArmsPeteFredlo ..that is one of the most stupidest things i've heard.

God planned for Jesus to die, not because people wanted him gone ad hoc. It was a plan.

And even if it was punishment, it took him 45 years to do so? By then Peter was dead and Jerusalem was destroyed! It makes no sense for a small settlement to be destroyed to be seen as a act of punishment!

  • @CombatArmsPeteFredlo um god planed for jesus to die it was set since his birth jesus volunteered to die for us!

  • @asimmervideo all this religous crap is not real so shut up

  • That slave owner guy was a dick.

  • of course the black guy dies first.

  • BOOOOOOOO! I NEARLY SHIT MY PANTS!

  • "come on , you cannot be afraid of pebbles! we are gladiators ! " (giant rock falls on his head)

  • Damn nature, you scary!

  • Thumbs up if you didn't watch the full video.

  • Even with seismic monitoring, and evacuations, getting 3.5M people out of there is going to be very difficult if that place blows again, and you are going to have dumb people that decide to stay, thinking that they can out run the lava, but you cant outrun the pyroclastic flows.

  • omg omg omg the next one is due soon

  • at 31:05 I saw that in the Science Museum in Boston

  • hahahahah...who knew Pompeii was inhabited by a bunch of Brits!

  • Be ready to die

  • What language is the subtitles in?

  • @1PuddingRing1 It is dansih

  • @1PuddingRing1...I think German.

  • I'm choking just from watching this video literally. lol

  • We watched it at school

  • @jethroyazzie Same here! :D

  • i agree with SuperResnick! What about those who survived?

  • i know this was sad and interesting, but i want to learn about the survivors of the eruption, well obviosly the people that fled a little farther then the country side who saw the volcano or how rome try to send the rescue

  • We watched this at school and were set to write a 2 page diary or report of some one how lived in Pompeii or saw it happen this helped me allot thanks for uploading it! : )

  • so fascinatingg one of my fav moments in history, very sad though rest in peacee all the victims and when is the next one due? :/ coz wow that would wreck everything but since its modern day evacuations and things like that will quickly take place :] i hope to visit pompeii when im olderr <3

  • @1997diamondz Glad you liked it. I totaly forgot to upload the next one, subscribe and/or friend me, and you will be notified when the next one is uploaded.

  • @1997diamondz remember hiroshima

  • @1997diamondz it is expected to happen in about 1,964 years

  • @1997diamondz

The current evacuation plan in Naples isn't compatable to the level of the 79 AD eruption and even this wasn't the worse... 369BC (Its something during BC) was the worst eruption, level 8 on the VEI scale. However Naples only plans towards a similar eruption during the second world war in 1944 which wasn't very powerful, only erupting lava flows, where this eruption was built up, therefore more explosive and more deadly.

  • excellent movie on the 79 A.D. Vesuvius eruption! Thank you for posting! ;)

  • so sad :(((((((((((((((((

  • good video :) 19:48

  • omigod

  • This has always been my favorite moment in history... it's so fascinating.

  • Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? They were superior to them in strength: they tilled the soil and populated it in greater numbers than these have done: there came to them their apostles with Clear (Signs). (Which they rejected, to their own destruction): It was not Allah Who wronged them, but they wronged their own souls. Al Quran, Surah Room 030:09.

  • @ktwothegreat This happened in 79 AD, more than four hundred years before Mo Mo The Pedo was even born. Volcanos are geological phenomenon that have nothing to do with some imaginary gods taking revenge, this is ridiculous ignoramous bullshit only religious brainwashed idiots still living in the ancient times believe. Take your Islamic filth and religious dogmas elsewhere. Can't go anywhere these days without having Muslims shoving their backward mentality in our faces. Fuck off.

  • or link please :((((

  • pleaze name of song 46:43 to end....

  • I throughly recommend Robert Harris book "Pompeii" which dramatises the events

  • amazing

  • wow...
