@Nro52 Yo leí en la biografía de ella cuando estaba con su primer manager (el de Carmine Meo) ella le dijo a su manager algo así como "Tu necesitas componer, cosa que no sabes hacer muy bien y yo no se cantar muy bien, entre los dos nos podemos ayudar a ver si sale algo" lo cito como referencia de que Emma puede experimentar en varios generos y su voz la ayuda, me di cuenta que cuando canta en francés, inglés e italiano usa tonos diferentes y a todos le queda perfecto como esta canción

actually the first time when i heard this song i was a bit dissapointed, i am used like many of you here to listening to her enchanting opera in italian, and this is pure shit comparing to the other masterpieces...i just find it a bit too comercialized for her!

@furchina Only to break into the closed minded north american market would be my guess. This style seems remenicient of Sarah Brightman's modern work and may do the trick. If not for Youtube, Last.FM, and the like I would not have heard of Emma, Tarja, Epica, etc... Only when these artists find a way to break this market barrier will fans of real music be able to find out for themselves what Emma and others are truely capable of.

Compared to Emma's other works, this particular piece is a tad too jarring throughout the song but I guess that's the sacrifice to be made if the song is going to be in English instead of her Old Italian style. Still a beatiful song compared to the majority of the other pop "diva" drivel that is floating around nowadays...
