go to the apple store and get a real computer. the Mac may cost more upfront. but that pc will cost you more in the long run. My mac comes with ever pice of software i could ever need. windows? nope always buying more software. and My mac in 5 years i can sell it for 2/3 what i paid for it new. in 5 years you will be lucky to even find somebody that wants to even think about buying that junky laptop. if it even still works by then. Windows/pc users just don't get it.

but a mac works without the complexity of Windows. 700 bucks will only buy you a low quality plastic laptop and DDR2 memory. the mac is built with high quality aluminium and has DDR3 memory. Every consumer wants something that works, not a bloated pc that keeps getting 'the blue screen of death'.

bsod only happens to me once every year and its only because i did something that was wrong. why do you not just get a pc and install hackintosh? a pc is not bad.

if you want to add software or hardware to a mac you have to look on the side and see if it says "works for mac too" under the finder logo.

70 percent of them dont. BUT on the other hand mac has amazing internet speed. how fast is it? my friend installed hackintosh and his downloads were going at 2mb/s. i use what i feel makes me happy

OK, if people wanted to buy windows, they would go to Best Buy or online. The Apple Online Store only has Apple Certified Software and hardware, including Office for Mac.

All you need to install xp on a mac is Boot camp and an intel mac

the cheapest mac is the white plastic one for like 900. you can get a hp for 700 with a coreduo proc, and 4 gigs of ram, the white one as i recall only has 1 or 2. computers are for what they do, not how they look.

everything is complicated if you dont know it whether is mac or pc. about it being bloated all new comps come with a cd. just pop that in and do a 10 minute reinstall. done no more bloats. and i never had a bsod with my computer. i use macs in school and the beach balls just dont stop

yea so you pay more for less. and windows and mac os do not require more than 1 gig of ram to run. the extra is just for apps. photo shop in a mac use the same ram as in a pc.

my point proven mac user buy it for looks. smart people get a hackintosh and a 30 inch screen for less than 1g that out runs a imac .

The Macbook only has 2 gb of ram because you don't need the extra memory for Leopard like you would for windows.

Macs at school are usually the clearance refurbs and are not up to date. And usually they run on the server and I don't even want to talk about how outdated servers at my school are.

And I don't know if you got a install DVD with you but my HP laptop came with no reinstallation disc.

When I asked them for one they told me to make recovery discs which contains all the bloatware with it.

Just downloaded an image from toreent and reinstalled with that. What a hassle.
