@1337CaLeB Actually, Using Fraps in Half life 1, It depends on which uhm...Settings of which you were running it on, i mean, I put it in Direct X 3D and it lagged to about 5 fps and i changed it to OpenGL and i got a constant 60 fps (Limit of my fps on my fraps (i set it) )

@duckieman09 I'm certain the fault was my rig. I was able to use Fraps perfectly on Half-Life 1 in the past before this problem sprung up, and it was certainly impossible trying to use it on Half-Life 2 (which was why this video is mostly screenshots. The one little segment in this video was done with source recorder.)

That's a type of graphic card slot. That really shouldn't be an issue. Just look up the supported CPUS on the manufacturer site, then buy one. Though since it's 5 years old I guess it'd be good to get a shiny Gefroce GTX 260, or Radeon HD 4870.
